I get people like this all the time, and tbh it's usually traders who try to do this in my experience.
I'm gonna go ahead and use the pilots callsign for this because he just got up my nose so much.
[Universal]-Delmont.INC (or similar), he's a trader who runs the Cambridge-Omicron Theta run, a run which I regularly blockade, as most pirates do. Now, he refused to stop, so I shot him (as did a gunboat I was with at the time) and consequently, he was blown to hell.
Now, he came back along the exact same run, rather than finding an alternative trade route, which would have been better RP and finding him again made me most and my gunboat partner most displeased, to which end, we re-engaged him in an attempt to extract payment from him (against the rules I know, but at this point he never made a complaint) and once again he was blown out the sky. Despite having a Bounty Hunter Battleship escort which became entangled in the Omega-5 asteroid field.
Now, a THIRD time after being destroyed, he returned to the same trade route. Now at this point he seemed to be more pliable to my demands and said he would pay me to leave him alone, would he hell, he spent his money on a Bounty Hunter who promptly appeared and blew me to hell. I removed myself from Omega-5 system as per the BH's demands and decided to go and abuse traders passing through Omega-41 (same route, different system) at which point I received flames and threats of administrative punishments from Delmont, claiming, I'd been killed and I wasn't allowed to engage him for a few hours.
Now at the time Kane was doing his rounds, and I contacted him for clarification, indeed, I had been killed so I wasn't allowed to fight Delmont again, but also that he shouldn't have been continuing to make the same trade run after being killed himself.
Admin's word is law as far as I go, so I thanked Kane and told Delmont that the admin had said I wasn't to attack him, at which point he decided that he'd start flaming and harassing me, even after I'd gone all the way to Alpha, stating that, "If he sees me within two systems of him, he was going to log off and switch to a different character".
That's some major breaking of rules and then enforcing the EXACT SAME RULES but applying them only to someone else right there. It's complete non-sense. Screenshots were taken but, as we were both technically in the wrong, they haven't been forwarded to the admins.
Heh, the same guy came into Tau 44 yesterday, telling BSG to "Get out":P
annyhow, wouldnt it be nice to have some sort of "independant"ID? BSG/[~V~]/AW and the likes could use it to prevent stuff like this from happening.
If you feel the need or want to blow that nut to hell, neither I, nor AW will stop you.. To all you AW.. Just shoot the twat.
@Exile; We don't need an Independant ID. AW ID states specifically, that AW is allowed to work on the lawful side of the law, and when RP allows, on the unlawful side of the law. Our RP allows us to ally the HF, and we have. Therefor, ANY action taking in the defense, or aid of an HF is justified and allowed with our ID.
He thinks we can't ally and work with unlawfuls.. Riiight.
