You got my fears. No-one is sure of it but Cannon.
I didn't ask my friend for a test it cause I know even if it's for the server safe, no repairs would be done by admins. But the commons "sendcash" commands don't mind that limits. That's a problem I didn't know if Cannon think about it.
I didn't told you more for some bad guys would try, that would give hard loses and/or flames.
Wasting a billion credits from that methods would be completely idiot, that's why splitting money into 1 billion parts max would be safe.
I PMed the admins, got some answers but most of them was about asking Cannon if it's handled or not.
Also this problem comes only from /givecash cause a normal trade would mean both parts agree the deal. Here the "no refunds" applies and is normal. With a /givecash, the receiver do not control it and is "forced" to accept it.

Quote:Edit: Short advice for anyone that goes out and does this,
if you put to many credits on a brand new character with no play time it seems to get banned for cheating.
So this has nothing to do with a current exploit but your worry of someone sending me 400mil to make my account go over the allowed amount. No worries here i have screens with date logs.
i'm not even going into the IND thing, the owner is obviously known to the admins or it would have been banned until questioning.
I'm pretty certain that corrupting a character by sending too much cash to it is impossible (this isn't exactly the same as it being actually impossible).
It was possible in the past but changes have been made to prevent this. In addition, cash transfers are logged so if someone intentionally corrupts another player's account then action can be taken against the instigator.
If anyone wants to try, feel free to send lots of cash to my primary ship - the Flyin'Brick. I prefer small unmarked bills in 10K credit bundles, but any amount up to 1,900,000,000 will be fine too. Should you succeed in corrupting my account, then I'll be very grateful and return the money - should you not succeed then I'll enjoy your money and still be very grateful.
