Actualy there are things that can incress the Power plant etc. The Void sever has them there are amour up grades Power up grades and shild up grades and something, elce. I have a PS some were i just cant find it atm

Speaking of equipment, we could use a slightly bigger variety as for top-notch stuff. Everyone is using champion HF shields, disco scanners, adv/nomad thrusters. These thing should imo have multple versions varying stats, but not price. For example, 1 scanner has extreme detection range, but limited scan. Another in reverse, but both share the same price.
On the Nighstalker mod I also saw engines being used. They were a welcome addition to my viper mk VII. Another thing... Would it be practical to make tractor beams as normal equipment? 2nd beam slot, the ID being non-functional as the beam.

It will go on a ship like batteries and nano bots. The more you have the better your ship performs.
You drop them if you blow up.
I'd say improvement of ship power by 1 percent for every crewman you have on your ship, upto 50 cremen.
Each takes up 50 cargo space.
This should be relatively easy, since they would be used like batteries and nano bots.
If you dont wanna do that, how about power cells that recover your power as you use them, Just in case you are lining up for a secnd pair of Novas. etc.
Imagine having different kinds of crew for different kinds of upgrades !!
Engineers to boost the recharge of your shields by say 5% per member,
Gunman to boost your damage output by say 5% per member,
Architects to boost your hull defense by say 5% per member,
Co-pilot (only one allowed & more expensive) to boost your turn rate by say 20%,

The prices varies on the different level of crew member (o, they're available in different levels as well, like the armor upgrade) and, depending on what faction base you buy them from, can have different kinds of skills (like a sort of racial advantage)...:wacko:
