Lavinia looked up slowly, moving her head from Alison's shoulder, and her ears flicked towards Kane, listening to the song he played. She smiled, and blinked slowly at him, seeming more relaxed now that she was alone apart from Alison.
A million dollars isn't cool. You know what is cool? A basilisk.
Errant nudged his helmet to the side. The bar room echoed a screech as the carbon fiber slowly slid across the floor. He got up from his seat and walked to the man tending bar. Errant motioned a consensual gesture and the man handed him another stick. The handwriting was of an unknown nature, but he slowly read the signs, chuckling at his pistol afterward.
The hunger...
Errant walked towards the thick glass. The never ending portrait of black on black had a rather depressing luminescence this time around, but he shrugged it off and walked back to his seat.
"Assuming they're all still alive, I can get you around fifty men. All experienced fighter pilots. Nothing too big, though." He said in a sluggish manner.
"well, fifty fighters would be enough for an infiltration...."
Said Chris, sounding like he had lost his hope in anything good.
"You know Fro, some times plans are too big for the current moment, my mission is one that wont be solved this way.....I think I should be more subtle and get inside, where a monster can not hide."
Kane noticed Lavinia's gaze from across the room and smiled back. He finished playing the current tune and set down the guitar. He walked over to Lavinia slowly.
"Hi," he said, smiling. "Glad to see you've come out from your ship for a little fresh air." He chuckled softly.
Lavinia sat up, and looked at Kane.
"Uhm...yeah...Alison said we were...exploring...heh..."
She continued to watch him, holding Alison's arm with one hand in a light grip.
A million dollars isn't cool. You know what is cool? A basilisk.
"So," Kane started, "what exactly brought you and Alison out here? It's not much of a fancy or impressive place... unlike yourself..." He smiled again.
A waiter with a plate of glasses walked past slowly. Kane reached out and grabbed a small drink from the platter. The waiter continued walking, oblivious to the fact there was a drink missing from his tray.
