Hello there, i´ve got a question about a Slavager (http://discoverygc.com/wiki/index.php/Salvager). I want to buy that ship becaouse of the weapons for interstelar transportation for my company.
But it´s sayed that the ship is a Junkers ship, so what ID did i need to fly those. I would prefere to have a Freelancer ID, or a trader ID.
For my understanding its for RP Ok (a Freelancer could have buyed a ship from a Junker), but i am not sure about the rules, so any ideas what ID´s i can use on this ship?

My opinion work some Junker missions then take Junker ID,after you get ID buy Salvager.
If you want buy some other ID when you buy Salvager.
What Dr is saying is you rep the Salvager, buy the Junker ID, then buy anotger ID. While that would woek, it will end badly for you. To gain the use of a Freeoancer Salvager, you must go to the Junker Congress and request the use of in within Roleplay, best to be done in the communication channel part of this forum. Please note that all IDs have restrictions to research the IDs to find the one that best suites your RP, and then check the Tech Chart in the Rules section to see if the ship is allowed with the ID.
Hope this helps.

The hallmark of the most successful clans within the greater Junker community, the Salvage Frigate class, while built upon the same basic core philosophy, grows to be as varied as the families that crew them with each passing generation. As such the vessel is never seen outside of the hands of Junkers, as the ship is by no means sold, so much as it is almost grown through years of combing and love of their crews.
This is one of the most 'stolen' ships in the game. And the .:j:.Junkers Congress persecutes these thefts with an unholy glee.
So... I'd take Jeremy's advice.
Either:
A) Use it as a Junker (Junker ID/IFF), or
B) Apply to Congress for permission to use it outside of 'the family' - though I'll tell you, unless you've made yourself a 'Friend of Congress' beforehand, its not very likely.
Kill some Hogosha or Reavers, then come asking, with screenshots - That'll turn the tide.

Technically you can with the researcher ID... Though I have no idea why that is.
Between the tech chart and the lore I tried to instill in the vessel's infocard when I drafted the thing up way back when there were certain stresses that this is a -Junker- ship. The vessel is rather unique and I assumed that would create a strong attraction, in addition the Junkers somewhat suffer for a deficit of signature vessels which work as a strong joining incentive which added to the need to attempt a measure of sanctity for the poor thing.
If you're going to flit about in one, yeh, suggest going the Junker road.
