We thought we were powerfull and rich,
but we are not.
We never thought that Sirius will be attacked,
and now the King will stop protecting us.
What do we do now. ________________________________________________________________________________
Creation
When the Ile-De-France landed and Gallia's Government was established, the monarchy needed a way to enforce and find intelligence from within. Though upon founding a force the first problem was how to hide such a force. One common finding in Gallia was useless metals and thus the Junker was born and has since been hidden in history. Being the Monarchy's eye's and ear's, they could make sure anyone who was going to object from with in Gallia was found very quickly. Their first and main task was to ensure the survival of the royal family, though upon the founding of the Gallic Royal Navy that task was taken over. After the Navy's formation their main concern was to weed out rebellion and dissent. However, they had been given so much reign that they themselves created part of Gallia's crime underworld. Many Junkers became greedy with their power, given to them by the Royal Family that they seek ways to gain more hidden power. Although these acts also gained them knowledge that otherwise would have eluded them, but when certain criminal elements could not be contained they became those criminals that are known today. And secertly hunted by the Junkers on occassion.
Sirius
For a time many forgot their next goal, but when they did remember they sent it out in force. Many were sent on this single task of gaining knowledge and intelligence, ready to be used to placed in to research to counter the threat back at home. This task of course being the spying on Sirius and stealing what could be taken. One of the many technologies that was taken was the Gate Lane technology produced by the corporation known as Ageira Technologies, which was quickly passed on to Loyalist Corperations to reverse engineer and install throughout the Core and Border Gallic systems. Another that was brought to Gallia by these Junkers were Nueral Net hard drives for which they themselves reverse engineered and sold to both Loyalists and Traitor alike. Many containing various information on Sirius though some were false. This then became the way of life for those within Gallia. Adapting and installation of stolen technology or Information that they could sell or pass on to other loyalists to be reverse engineered and installed, that was brought by other Junkers to Gallia. For a short time many were happy with the underground activities, as well as adapting/passing on/selling Sirian technology for/or to Gallia and making sure no more criminal organisations appeared out of nowhere. They then became restless and tired of knowing what was out there, and they started to wish to hurt the Sirians before the Invasion had even started. Though by this time paths to Sirius were blocked and lost from memory, which drove many to greed in gaining power and what little wealth they could. Whilst mining their fields for usefull scrap.
Strife
During the First Gallic Civil war the Junkers within Gallia were asked by the Royal Family to watch and not get involved in the war, to which some worked very hard to stay away from. But others did not in the early stages of the war, as they had not heard the Monarch's message. Afterward, however it helped the Gallic Junkers to keep their front of scrap mining running for many years to come. And to work in a more unified way, thus a single move towards a Consortium followed after years of a chaotic system of passing information on. And the following was born within the Gallic Junker community, the Gallic Scrap Consortium, as known by outsiders, or more commonly known inside the Gallic Junker community as the GSC.
Reunion
Many of the Gallic Scrap Consortium's activities are well hidden among their stations. With King Charles in their pockets, ignoreing their activities when shown proof if any proof is found, they barely have trouble with the Gallic Royal Navy. Though the Gallic Royal Police are seen as a problem at times. Protecting the trade of Gallia is also a major concern to them as well, not that the Gallic Royal Police are a seen as a problem sometimes, they have a vested interest in the Gate Lane technology that brought to Gallia whom pirates always continue to cause problems to the systems held with in the Gate Lanes, and sometimes caused by Royal Police. Another issue with Gallic criminals are that they eat in to there own activities like illegal gambling and there portion of the Gallic underground, as well as pirating themselves on occasion. However their current important interest is in Sirian transports carrying usable goods that they could sell on to the Royal family and/or the Gallic Royal Navy now that Sirius knows about Gallia. Many such goods find their way in to Military projects, though some also find their way into Gallic civilian life or the heavily controlled portion of the underworld that is run by the Gallic Scrap Consortium. It is also unknown when the Gallic Scrap Consortium lost contact with there Sirian counterparts, but still managed to get agents out of Gallia. But when the breach was opened many with in the Concortium became highly jealous of their wealth and shear power whilst they were stuck with in Gallia.
Today
Now that the Gallic Crown has finished with their need for Intelligence, Gallic Junkers are no faced with a tough time. Still jealous of their Sirian brethren which has not been helped by them after gunning down many Gallic junkers that they found in Sirius. Also recently many of there markets have been over taken by local unlawfuls, even the Council. The Consortium is now wanting to find and exploit any market they can get there hands on. And ensure those who compete in those markets, lose interest.
The largest Junker installation in Gallia, Bourg-en-Bresse is often considered the center of their operations in Gallic border worlds and even in all known space of Sirius. It's only partially true, since gallic Junker leaders prefer to stay on Planet New Paris in luxury and safety. However, this space port is the largest Junker installation currently in existence, and certainly serves as the headquarters for all their activities in the Gallic Border Worlds. Built in 688-690 A.S,. after their previous base in Burgundy, Bourbon, was overtaken by Unione Corse, Bourg-en-Bresse has tough armor and advanced weapon systems, but enjoy relative safety since all factions in Gallia, lawful and unlawful, prefer to maintain neutral relations with the Junkers. Only exception are the Maquis, who were most probably encouraged to start a war against Junkers by the Council after the High Command became aware of the Junkers' espionage network established in Liberty, Bretonia, and Rheinland.
Ironically, Beaumont Base bears the same name as a Junker base in Texas. This fact is most likely a coincidence, though some Junkers suggest that the idea to name the Texas base (built in 763 A.S.) came from the Gallic overseers of Junker activity in Sirius. Beaumont was built in Ile-de-France back in 303 AGS, shortly after Beauvais was constructed. The bulk of Beaumont's initial hull was comprised of the junk and stolen parts from Beauvais construction sites. It was built by a group that would later become known as the Junkers. A well-known theory suggests that the Junkers actually owe their name to Beaumont's outlook: the station looked like a piece of junk floating in space. Later on, as Junkers grew richer, Beaumont was rebuilt, and while some of its parts still resemble its rough origins, most of the station looks more or less professionally constructed. Beaumont is frequently visited by various parties, including Gallic pirates, freelancing traders, and covert agents of Gallic corporations. It is known to be the primary local source of Nox, a drug that originates from Provence and has gained massive popularity in Ile-de-France and other higher-class planets of Central Gallia.
Chateau-Gontier was built on the spot where Craon Station was located before 505 AGS. That year, the Normandy separatists launched several surprise attacks against Royal Navy and corporate targets across Maine. Craon, located deep inside Maine, was one of the more vulnerable targets. The station was blown up by several torpedo volleys which targeted its fuel storage. Most of the station's inhabitants managed to escape (since the separatists made no attempt to destroy escape pods and civilian craft), but Craon itself was completely destroyed.
The trade lane leading to Craon's location also survived the destruction and Chateau-Gontier Station was built here by Nery Space Construction in 544 AGS. Nery used the station as an ore processing facility for nearby mining operations, and shared the station with other companies that used it for factory facilities and storage. Later on, when Nery ran into trouble in the end of the 600s, the Junkers bought a sizeable stake in the station's operation. After Nery went bankrupt and sold all of its space assets, Junkers purchased the whole station and renamed it into a Freeport. Since then, it is mostly used as a space habitat for Junkers. It is also acting as a shipping platform offering Oil, Copper, and a number of other commodities to independent and corporate traders.
Located on the very edge of Mer Mediterainee and orbiting Planet Istres, Monte Carlo was built by the Junkers in 690-695 AGS. Yet, they are not the only party who operate and maintain the large station. Brigands, Corse, Council, and other groups have reportedly purchased large portions of the station for their own purposes. It is a large facility that is frequented by visitors of very versatile origins. Travelers from all around Gallia come here to get almost unrestricted access to Nox and whatever other forbidden substances (and activities) they are willing to try out. Freelancing traders come to buy and sell a wide variety of goods. Mercenaries come looking for lucrative missions and bounties offered by lawful and semi-lawful groups. Pirates find a place where they can sell the goods they were lucky enough to snatch. Many criminals simply use the station as a place to hide from authorities.
Just like its namesake, Monte Carlo is also famous for its casinos and night clubs. While not as dangerous as most pirate bases, the freeport is possibly the best way for a Gallic civilian to touch the bounds of what's forbidden in the Crown-ruled worlds. Prices on Monte Carlo are fair, and thousands of various ships carrying tourists dock there every year. Somehow those ships are very rarely attacked by pirates, who prefer to pick off transport convoys heading to other destinations.
The events of the Second Gallic War that lead to the role of the Junkers in Sirius espionage made the operation of Monte Carlo more complex for the Junkers, as their relations with all Gallic unlawfuls became quite tense. Yet, the freeport administration tries to distance itself from the rest of the faction and from political issues in general, attempting to resolve local conflicts without outside interference.
Covert network's of the Junkers exists not only in the Houses of Sirius. Once Gallic top officials received information about the Corsairs and the Outcasts, they wanted to learn more of the two groups. Narrow paths between mines were created that no stock ship could use, and special mine runners piloted by the most experienced Junkers were dispatched to transfer agents to Malta and information they collect back to Gallia. Lixheim, along with Lodeve, are the two stations where those mine runners are stationed.
A small installation of Junkers in the Languedoc system. Seemingly insignificant, this place is an importaint point of transit for information and materials that Junker agents from the Four Houses collect and send back to their homeland of Gallia.

Comtesse Marine Franck and Comte Isaac Franck currently direct the Consortium. Marine is the favourate Step daughter of the Franck family and as such holds overall control. Both are separated, Marine is in Exile however she still runs the Consortium whilst her husband Isaac tends to many of the Gallic relations the Consortium deal in. The rank itself is only ever appionted to a direct family member. Overall responsabilty falls to the Comtesse in running activities that benefit themselves, and more over to make the ruling Family richer.
Baron/Baronne
Baron/Baronne's are the next driving force of the Consortium. Meeting with the Comtesse privately in her own meeting hall. They make sure the day to day activities of the Consortium run smoothly. From making sure the Consortium's Illegal activities never get found by moving them from base to base. As well as being in such a rank, they are considered extremely greedy and always take great lenghs to get what they want.
-May be found running a base as there own Baronnie-
-May use Gunboats with permission from Comtesse-
Freeman
Freeman are the common workers who ensure tasks are completed on behalf of the Noble ranks. They are the skilled workforce of the Consortium. From transport and fighter pilot's to smelter workers. They are the more commonly seen Consortium Junkers that are found flying in space. They can be of varied skill level thouh each will have a set of skills he can use for the Consortium.
-May have more than one ship-
Sous-Officier
Sous-Officier's make up the largest portion of the Gallic Junker population. Many just work low manual jobs upon the Consortiums base's. They are the main labour force that the Consortium uses to complete lesser required tasks. Only a few are seen in space, most are new crew members for transport's. Whilst there is the odd few who are being trained to become a Freeman. Though those that are training are likely to die young, or become a Freeman after doing some basic training which normally takes one to three weeks on average. All Sous-Officier's are ncknamed dog meat by there superiors for there tendancies to be a target. And that they haven't truely learn't the trade nicknamed scrap as well. Many are eager and willing to do what ever it takes. As well as being greedy, but are very likely to be poor.
To provide a plausable lore based on what has been made already.
To provide more great roleplay to Gallia.
To apply to become Official.
To provide more roleplay oppertunity bewteen Gallic Junkers and Sirian Junkers as discussed with Hawk (which at times is likely to mean shooting each other).
And to work with Hawk on deciding and working to get seperate ships for both Factions. So that there is a distigishable difference from one another, repersentative of there different choices, needs and there seperation.
<strike>To ensure that Junker ships are easily available with in Gallia. By asking Admins, Dev's to add purchase locations for various ships with in Gallia.</strike>
It's a very good start mate but please learn the difference between 'their' and 'there.' A few other grammar and spelling mistakes here and there but that's no real biggy. And I would also love to join ya if you wouldn't mind? Another issue you might find is that you cannot mine scrap as a Gallic Junker, the ID isn't switched on. I asked if it can be for 4.86 but didn't get much of a reply. I would also move the Taus to primary ZOI, as that's where most of your activities will be taking place.
Won't really be mining scrap in Gallia. As theres much more that can be done in gallia than scrap mining so it's not really too much of a problem for me. I know I am not very good with there or their so I don't mind some pointing which theres need correcting. And sure you are more than welcome to join. I'll add you on skype right after sending this post.

Thank you alot SA_Scavenger for the proof reading you have done for me.
Will be making a roster with in the next couple of days as I already have 3 members in total (including myself) and likely to have mre coming soon.
Will say this now, if you are looking for us in game we are likely not to be in game for a few days. Once we do you are likely to see us around Gallia or Bretionia and Kusari. (or connecting systems)
General note. Just realised I have forgotten to place 3 gallic factions on to the diplomacy list. There are as follows;
The Maquis
Unione Corse
Gallic Brigands
I have currently placed them now as "At War" in reflection of lore I have written, to respect Gallic Junker views, and the Gallic Junker ID.
Something I wondered about today is about the view of Gallic Corperations, Gallic Junkers and the Tech chart. Which is of that Gallic Junkers are seen as a Gallic corperation in politics I belief in my own opinion. This may be constructive in regards to our plans regarding the ID issue at the moment. Though it would be nice to hear from others there beliefs of how Gallic Junkers fit in, in regards to what tech they should and should not be allowed.
Just beware mate, there's still a lot more proof reading to be done on this. That was a 10 minute quick tidy up I did for ya, hehe. Still, it's looking better and better. Looking forward to having some fun in this faction. I've still got the document on my PC, I'll take a good proper go of it over the weekend. We can also chat on skype when you're free, probably best some time on Saturday. Just don't disturb the rugby!
I'd like to note that all of the Gallic corporations along with the Royal Police and Royal Navy are not very trusting of any Junker. Gallic Junkers play both sides and tend to try to remain neutral.
Your faction is clearly more loyal and lawful than the mainstream Gallic Junker populace.
I'd also like to point out that one of your main goals within your primary ZoI is all but impossible. Junkers cannot pirate in house space (as defined by the server rules). The Taus probably should be in your primary ZoI also.
While Junkers did bring Gate/Lane technology to Gallia they didn't understand nor did they construct the devices. Solar Engineering is the firm responsible for the Gates/Lanes in Gallia, they used what the Junkers brought back and created their own versions of the technology. I believe that EFL actually built them for Solar.
Rumor cards indicate that the Gallic Junkers might have started out as a special forces branch of Gallia's armed forces.
