Lavinia seemed unaware of the bar around her, she sipped at her glass. She was being ignored, and she didn't really mind, it was easier when people left her alone. She could think better without certain distractions.

Kane chuckled lightly and picked up his glass of water. He walked over to Lavinia and gently kissed her on the cheek, then sat down and took a sip of the ice-cold liquid. The drink cleansed his mind and dulled the alcohol slightly.
"Yo, Chris," he said a little bit louder. "I'll call you if something turns up."
Lavinia let out a small, surprised gasp as Kane kissed her, and grinned, blushing slightly. She took another sip of water, and rested her head on Kane's shoulder.
