Where is the roleplay, reporting channels, message dumps, calls for help, etc... about this event?
It may be fun ingame just to try and run past a blockade, but it fails on the forum rp front, I think.
There is massive potential, still unused.
And somehow I hesitate whether I should create some infrastructure and forum rp around it, since it seems to have almost been completed. Hm... likely I will. Just in order not to waste the potential I see in it.
A crap event. How the hell are gunboats and snubs supposed to take down Traders operating at low server time when there a LNS dreadnoughts escorting the damn traders?
Honestly, what the hell?
Power does not corrupt. Fear corrupts... perhaps the fear of a loss of power.

They're not going to be able to...but if it is that important to you then I suggest you stay on the server 24/7 with a RM dreadnaught.
Ugggh. Have fun damn it. Stop trying to over think the whole thing. Stop just playing for the win.
If you want I will require people to write a 1000 word RP essay before being allowed to play.

While Andrew could of worded it MUCH better, I have to agree with the general idea.
While I understand this is more of a test than an actual event, it's disappointing to see the smuggling occur when most of our player base is asleep, and with them being escorted by capital ships, there's not much we can do before they dock on the Westfalen, after hugging and being supplied by a battleship.
While there's nothing wrong with this tactic, it's still frustrating not being able to do anything because you can't field many people. Still, when both sides could field enough players, it was a hell of a lot of fun, especially when an entire fleet kept us occupied so some traders could sneak past, so there are good and bad sides, like most things though.
Keep it up Cannon, I know you're working hard and I want to give you my kudos.

Play the game an enjoy it. What Cannon has done is make it so people have a reason to be in a specific area of the game. He has created player interaction. Enjoy that. Traders get to feel like they are doing something. Everyone else gets to shoot something. Win. Win.
You don't always get to win the fight. If you can't enjoy the fight itself because you know you lose in the end, then why are you still playing a Rheinland character? Everyone knows they are losing the war.
