Two weird ideas:
- Cruise engines consuming H-Fuel (based on mass/size of the ship) from the cargo hold. No H-Fuel on board = no cruise.
- Making a jump gate/trade lane cost some credits to use. Based on the size of the ship.

I prefer the jumpgate cost idea. Would cause Ageria people to camp the JHs to stop people from avoiding the fee.
shoot off the "Incoming Missile" alarm? Since we don't have an "Lock on Target" when fire with missile like the modern planes. And will encourage more missile fighting. After all we are in future and we should fighting with missiles not only with guns like in world war 2 right? All the fightings in Freelancer are just like an WW II fight only in space so the pilots from that time did't have an "Incoming missiles" alarm. How this idea sounds?
Bigger stations. Not in Guard systems, they're fine as it is. Most Freelancer stations - particularly vanilla - look too small for their intended purpose.
