- And no - I don't have a secret MM char despite the fact that I'm and was honored by Dieters frequent attempts to recruit me;)
- Kudos to MM. Keep up the good work and continue with tradition. If change did happen or will happen, this faction could only evolve into something better.
I agree with first thing we could use own ID
Second one: You can still join us:DJust think of name: MM~The_Joker xD
You stopped leading MM shortly after you founded it in LATE 2007!
You do know what year it is now, right?
After you left I set up MM to take advantage of every major conflict in Sirius, and pick a side, in a consistent manner, setting up contracts with certain factions against others.
ie, MM is pro-Bretonian, pro-Libertonian, pro-Outcast, pro-Zoner. All our diplomacy flows logically from that. It has been established for a very long time.
Our friends and clients know who we are, and our enemies also know where we stand.
You want MM to be neutral, that is, to work for RM one week say, and LN the next? How much credibility would such an organisation have? How much honour?
Whatever your vision of MM may have been, it became irrelevant in 2007. Three. Years. Ago.
And if you think I am being harsh, that is me smacking you down for dissing Casero, who does not have that kind of garbage coming from you, and is doing a pretty good job in my absence.
Someday the snow will fall again here, and my house renovations will be done, and I will be back more earnestly. With Casero running the show, I am confident MM will still be here when I return.
With you running it, MM would have the longevity of the Viking Newfoundland colony.
No matter the idiotic banter from previous members who cannot let go of their dreams and post about it throughout the forums, I have had fantastic encounters with the MM~
While flying in California today with another Rogue, we were attacked by one Sagg'Tar'di, who role played well, and conducted himself as a Mandalorian should. I'm pretty sure everyone but Mr.White, a nearby hacker that got blown up after the brawl, had fun. Both myself and my fellow Rogue escaped, but it was a good time.
Good faction, fun interaction. Keep up the good work. I'm sure I'll be seeing more of you due to the bounty on the Rogues.

Yes... but the Unioners aren't exactly the strongest faction out there.
While you have a decent array of active military assets, you would have a very hard time maintaining those ships (especially the larger ones) if, through switching sides every other week, you managed to irritate basically everyone. And those military assets are your only resources. The Unioners have their Blood Diamond income, the Rogues smuggle three different high-value commodities. You don't have any of that. Currently you don't need it, but if you were to try for Yuri's sacred neutrality, you would need to establish your own supply lines because no one would help you.
I'd like to comment that the Jupiter Guild attempted to run things all neutral. They are all gone now, and I don't really remember them ever actually completing any contracts. By staying neutral, you can only kill generic ID'd players, and not even the more notorious of those... meaning that you actually shoot yourself in the foot even harder than if you pick a side. This isn't 2007, the vast majority of players have NPC faction IDs, not generics.
Picking a side is necessary. You need someone to take contracts against, and "generic ID'd players" is not a good enough target (especially since most of those contracts are absurdly narrow). Especially now that every house is at war with someone, it simply isn't feasible to try and please them all. The BHG| couldn't get Magma Hammers at one point because despite doing dozens of jobs for Liberty, they also worked for Rheinland. And that war is like gentlemanly fencing compared to the Bret-Kusari war... you work for Bretonia, even not against the KNF, and Kusari will bounty the hell out of you. (Even the BHG| almost got into some serious shooting matches with the [KNF] because of their Bretonian contracts.)
This is not 2007, nor is it 4.83. You cannot be friends with everyone. The Zoners are getting into cap fights on occasion. The BHG has had struggles to keep face with Kusari, and Gallia considers them villainous swine for even talking to Council. It is a time of choosing sides, of drawing a line in the sand and saying "this is who we stand with, for better or worse". Every choice has consequences, and not everyone will come out okay. If you do not choose your enemies, they will be chosen for you.
Yuri, you don't turn up and start handing out your opinion where no one wants it.
You keep saying "If you want my suggestion..." and guess what, no one cares. You turned up from being gone to essentially say that you were gone. Isn't that the definition of pointless? Rhetorical question of course.
Evict yourself from what used to belong to you, cus it isn't yours anymore.

This should definitely not happen. IDs are not for passing the test of time, ID's are for fitting a long-standing faction better into the universe. Time is not the deciding factor, simply a prerequiste. If there is no need for something, there is no point in adding it.
