Konnichiwa.
I started my day with supplying our base with required materials.
Just after I finished my last route I have received a distress signal from a Barge captain under attack by some hostile freelancer gaijin.
The Barge was heavily damaged when I got there so I rushed in to remove the criminal, he tried to dock on Shinigawa, little did he knew that Shinigawa's personal could not be fooled by his fake identifications, I shot him down in no time and the Barge captain even rewarded me for my little effort.
Later today we received reports about a Gallic cruiser in Honshu, so we went to investigate.
Turns out the said cruiser intended on stealing Kusari technology, we made the captain to surrender it and we escorted him back into the Tau's.

I had some rather..amusing encounter today, spotted a Junker Recycler in Kyushu and tracked him to Shikoku, he wasn't very talkative..
It was more of a chase then a fight...realizing he stood no chance against me, he instead decided to melt himself near the sun..pff pathetic gaijin baka...

>>>Week 19, 819 A.S
Under direct instructions from Bakuryō-chō taru Kaishō Takahashi I have begun focusing my operations on the galactic north.
I met with Hung on my way out of Shikoku, his recent battle earned a well deserved rest, so I went on for a short patrol with Ishikawa, Hijikata, and Sakamoto which took us through Honshu, Hokkaido, Rishiri, Tohoku and Nagano. After observing some kind of disagreement between chrysanthemums and taking care of a foreign capital vessel , the others returned to base.
I began the usual traffic observation in lieu of worthy combatants. It was revealed that much of this traffic carried base construction materials, and not all was bound for the designated zones. I tracked these as they crossed my intended flight path, and found them to be short of language and recalcitrant: which made me suspicious. It was then that I decided to cast a wider net and contact samura, since they were very familiar with this area. contact log
As you can see, my inquiries soon led to the discovery of somedisturbingfacts and the location of Hibutsu Outpost.
The base did not comply with regulations outlined in the legal codex, support arrived, we gave the resident staff time to evacuate. As their ships moved cargo out they were scanned and found to be transporting nomad materials. Upon realisation that their illicit cargo would be seized, and ignoring naval orders, they returned to the base under fire: and so the base was destroyed.
The list of those associated with the base includes: Ruoska, Exponent, Problem?, Capitalism and Meerkat.
The admiral has assigned me to the boarding contingent bound for the Arch, I admit some anticipation at finally setting foot on such an iconic construct. Nagata out. >>>

I heard about some Outcast capital vessel in Shikoku and went to see what's happening, by the time I got there a KNF capital vessel had already been dispatched to take care of it, the Outcast vessel was destroyed while ours sustained minimal damage.
After the gaijin was cleared I took the transport and proceeded with the supplying of base, on my way to get more supplies I spotted a farmer Ahoudori pirating a freighter so I called in for help, the freighter managed to escape while my escort eliminated the farmer, unfortunately he had time to cripple my transport and is now under repairs.
Today I was part of a small force dispatched to escort our boarding team to the planetary arch in Tohoku.
We assembled at Battleship Matsumoto and moved out to the jumphole to Tohoku.
There we escorted the Aden Maru, our troop transport vessel chosen to carry the boarding team, to the Arch.
The operation went smoothly without any incidents and soon we escorted the transport back to Hokkaido.
Relevant pictures are attached.
This is a late report regarding the classified mission roku-Hachi-go.
The task force departed from Matsumoto whereabouts and moved to Tohoku Jumphole at 700.
As no hostile vessels could be detected in Tohoku, we started right away to scan the station to find a favorable weak spot to drop the marines led by the Kaisho-ho Nagata and the Nitto Kaisa Sanada.
Such a spot was found near what appears to be the communication transmitters of the station.
As soon as we received the confirmation our warriors were able to set up a bridgehead, we unmoored and followed by our escorts, left Tohoku to pick up more of the marines waiting on Matsumoto to participate in the takeover.
We didn't contact back the boarding teams since then.
Not much too say. Today I found four members of the Golden Chrysanthemums in Kyushu and made sure they would leave again.
One way or another.
After a short fight I left three of them in their pods.
I don't know where the fourth one went, because heavy ion storms made navigating impossible.
And I guess that was already all for today.
Pictures are attached as always.

It has been a while since my last report, and I expect that with all these paper works
(//dam finals !) I need to take care of, my space patrols will be drastically reduced, I expect to resume my normal routine in a few weeks from now.
I wish to say I am very honored to be promoted, and here is something interesting;
I was on patrol as usually when a foreign trader flies past me, something smelled funny about him, he won't reply to my hails so I followed him to Okinawa where he sheltered for a few minutes on this base, when I asked him who this base belongs to he just took off without a word, I tried to dock on the base for some answers but apparently the inhabitants do not allow our forces on their base, which got me to suspect they are hiding something, I would like an investigation started of this base just to make sure.

Yesterday was quite an eventful day so I'll just give a short summary about what happened.
First, there was an Outcast gunboat in Kyushu. Nito-kaisa Sanada-san and me stalled it until reinforcements arrived and we took it down.
After that we decided to move to the Sigmas for a short patrol. There we found a nomad vessel, but all it did was running away.
We followed it until Honshu but lost trace when it jumped to Chugoku.
Then we had to deal with two Outcast fighters in New Tokyo. Unfortunately Hung-san's fighter was blown up by two mines, but in the end Sanada-san and me managed to destroy the ships of the Outcasts.
The next notable thing to happen was a Maquis fighter in New Tokyo. After a short chase I destroyed his vessel to make sure he'll keep out of Kusari now.
Then there was this pirate at the jumpgate to Shikoku. A police officer was already dealing with that one, but unfortunately explosion damage got the better of his light fighter. So I moved in and destroyed the pirate.
And the last thing for today is a ship of the Golden Chrysanthemums. After quite a long a chase, the pilot finally gave up and accepted a duel. After I destroyed her ship I moved back to New Tokyo and ended my patrol.
