I was enjoying some downtime on Freeport 9 today when I received a call over the emergency channel. I launched and met two ZTC ships. Charles Burns informed me that two Corsair "terrorists" had been spotted. Apparently, they have it out for all Zoners. We commenced a sweep of the system. Mr. Burns was the first to make contact and saw that they were holding a couple of our pilots hostage.
After a brief chase we engaged the bombers. They heavily damaged two of our gunboats, but were no match for Charles and I. I tractored in one of the pods and made sure he made it back to Freeport 9 safely.
The Corsairs names were [A]-Fakir and [A]-Mustafa. I would suggest our transports avoid all contact with these pilots.

It has been a busy couple of days here in the office. I have several things to go over.
First, I really am troubled by the appearance of these Corsair terrorists. The Alliance have contacted the Corsair leaders. Hopefully we can figure out exactly what is going on soon. Till then use extreme caution when traveling in the Theta area. If you see them do not try reasoning, just get to the nearest safe harbor.
The next order of business is a trade contract. It seems a member of the TAZ has a vessel under construction at Livadia shipyard. I have registered our ships to complete the contract. The list and instructions for delivery can be found here. There is a special passcode as well. I will distribute it over the company S.K.Y.P.E network.
Lastly, I have an assignment for Ms. Ruiz. It seems things are heating up in your general area. Please remain on Freeport 9 and keep an eye on the emergency channels. Please assist when called.
That is all for now. Remember to fly safe out there.
Today i filled a little bit of the special trade contracts requests. I delivered 3588 units of cargo to Lavidia Shipyard, please see the contract channels for specifics.

I recently held talks with the Orsini family of the Union Corse. Yes, the Gallics. They have agreed to give us docking rites at their home base of Montelimar in Dauphine. They also agreed to let us dock on Bourbon base in Burgandy, but I'm a bit hesitant to send transports there at this time. In return they asked for permission to conduct trade with our bases in the Tau region. I saw no issue with this so I agreed. Montelimar has quite a large stock of bio neural processors. They are very rare here in Sirius.
I don't think I can stress enough just how dangerous Gallia is. If caught by the Royals, they will destroy your ship. That is why this route is optional and, for the time being, restricted to Captain rank pilots.

It seems the Corsairs have not taken to our decision to cut off food supplies well at all. The Alliance Committee anticipated some fallout, but nothing of this magnitude. Many Corsairs are now openly attacking all Zoner vessels and have issued bounties. This will not deter us from our jobs! We will still supply our bases. The escort wing is always on standby and all pilots should call on them before departing into Corsair territory.
I will be away from Freeport 14 for a while. Talks are underway in Omicron 74 that I will be attending. Any important notices should be forwarded to the Solar Breeze. I will keep everyone notified of any important news.
Duncan Stow here, with the hostilities towards use easing a bit, I decided to try a run and see what happened. Im happy to report that besides a nomad encounter, no other notable events occurred. My cargo manifests are as follows:
Gran Canaria to Freeport 10, 3588 units of dueterium
Freeport 10 to Freeport 11, 3588 units of niobium
Freeport 11 to Gran Canaria, 3588 units of iridium;I would also like to note that on this route i was attacked by two nomad assassins and a nomad gunboat, receiving minor shield damage.
Hopefully things will continue to cool off for us.

Another circuit completed tonight, and more supplies were moved. Freeport 14 has received a fresh supply of Deuterium fuel, Ames got some water to fill up its supply, Freeport 10 received Consumer Goods, Freeport 11 a new batch of Niobium, and then Iridium back to Gran Canaria. Unfortunately, the skies were quiet, so I had nobody to talk to. Both a blessing and a curse, I suppose.
