I think it is powergaming from certain Corsair players who are making Corsairs something they are not, and inRP not possible.

So, you suggest that we should restrinct players for using corsair characters, because they are good at PvP?
I'm sorry but that's wrong.
I'm sorry for zoners, but there were more ways to solve problems than PvP. I didn't check, but seems like Doc found one. And like I said to a person not so long ago... you can't be neutral to everyone.
If the zoners take the help from Outcasts, SCRA, RoS, GMG, etc... do you think that will help their case? Of course not, that will piss off Corsairs more than before, if what they want is to be neutral, they must solve this by themselves, without external help, or at least not from corsairs' enemies.

Id find it very funny if due to the Corsairs blasting all the Zoners that some new ruling went "Due to reduced food suppies for the Corsairs many people have died or are in a far worse state than before. As a result, Bot/Bats can no longer be bought on any Corsair Base."

I think the main reason this has steamrolled so bad is that the Corsairs have nothing to loose, Gameplay wise.
Zoners loose thier ability to move freely and RP, Corsairs are still just opening up on everyone as they pop up on scanners.

If magicaly they became unable to use Thrusters or somthing when they go hostile to Zoners. Things would be very different

Im sorry mate, but do you honestly think anyone that has posted in this chat is actually taking this crap seriously?

Im pretty sure everyone i know thinks this is way overblown and overreacted.

But sure i shall throw down my proper 2 cents. Zoners RP'ing the destruction of the FP or whatever the hell that happened to the thing, brought such upon themselves. A simple battle that turned into sympathy cries. I personally dont even wanna get involved with this, but due to stupid RP reasons i gotta, the joys of being a Reaper.

On the other hand, im playing this by ear. I might have posted in support of the Zoner alliance with RoS, but frankly depending on things go i am liable to change my mind. And do what i usually do. Just wish everyone would get over it already and go back to playing the damn game and have fun! Cause this stuff is a joke.

EDIT: People have left, and even a Official faction has disbanded over this. The very fundimentals of the Omicrons have been turned upside down, for better or worse who knows. But how far does it go till it stops really? Is it really the right thing to do carrying on such silly crap just for the sake of a game, This aint just a inter faction squabble its effecting everyone right now... And its getting irritating.

Alright, my personal opinion on the Zoners - nothing else... just the zoners.

Zoner neutrality rests on playing the field correctly. Not showing any particular favour one way or another. That means not antagonising people. There have been tensions between the zoners and corsairs for months, if not years.

These 'bombs' were placed a long time ago. There have been disputes over omega 50, gran canaria in 49, food supply, endless little things.

Now, if we like player input on disco RP, which I presume we do, then this is simply a direct consequence of those disagreements. Conflict does arise, not everything is static. Neutrality has to be worked for... It's extremely hard to maintain, and takes a very astute person to see how best to do so.

Every neutral party eventually trips up and does the wrong thing. The current war is just a consequence.

Not everything you do gets reset by a server restart like dusty so nicely pointed out. For every action there is a consequence. Basically... deal with it.
