Basically you can use all of the analogies that you want. The genie is out of the bottle. Pandora's box has been opened. (And she has crabs...) It's pretty much impossible to stuff Disco back into the Vanilla wrapper unless you eliminate the cap ships for most of the non-military factions.

And getting to fly the cap ships and large transports is one of the biggest attractions for new players of Disco. That was why I downloaded the mod - and played it for two or three months just as SP way back when. Getting to be in a cruiser or destroyer was just neat!

So in those 20 years, the BHG got to the point where they can not only match in military power with the Order, Nomads, Outcasts, Zoners (sun), + every other criminal faction ( I would've mentioned House of Kusari just out of pure evilness, but I decided against ), but can even possibly invade the SCRA home system and be in plenty other ridiculous situations that I'm too lazy to try and remember off. May have you been busy.

But really Agmen has a point that caps and "I can trade in huge ship" are the 2 most attractive points of disco.

zoners do NOT ship their goods to other! ( they are not seen doing it!) - they LET OTHERS BUY IT AT THEIR STATIONS. - zoners ARE seen taking artifacts and cardamine into the re-distribution bases in the core though ( or close to the core - like hawai )

That is what I'm trying to get back to, Jinx. OSI will still cover special contracts once in a while. But other than that we are just taking goods from or bringing goods to the Freeports. It gives the Freeports a reason for existing in the dangerous places they do. I just hope other Zoners will follow suit.
