In distant future when Sirius is fully colonized, and no planet, asteroid or piece of rock in reach is free for human colonists to settle will be there only possibility to colonize nomad worlds and their space. With superior human technology and warmachine before unseen there will be another human-nomad war much bigger than the first war, but this time the nomads are going to extinct. With their last breath the nomads are sending back in time the sun destroyer to kill their enemies-humans at birth. But they messed something up and they arrive few minutes after the sleepers ships were launched. Dont aware of that they destroy the sun and are celebrating a party in their cloaked ship. :crazy::lol:

Question is should we even discuss this because we as chars in FL space have no idea that Sol blew up.
When we / community / Igiss establish RP that confirms that thing in game we can start talking about Sol and who destroyed it.. until that this is pointless:)

It's not pointless. The more we understand about Freelancerverse, the more accurate stories can be written, and RPs developed.

Dicovery =/= Vanilla Freelancer.

Vanilla Freelancer uses the official openining as canon.

Discovery uses the extended trailer as canon.

Clear enough for you now?

There is no contradiction in my statement, there is only a misunderstanding on your part by assuming that Discovery is perfectly canon with Vanilla Freelancer, which it is not.

Then: The most common suggestion I see around Forums is that The Sol Nomads were a totally different Race than Sirius Nomad. And about Sirius Nomads Blasting System after System through Sirius to get rid of Humans? It was Their Home in the first place, and the Humans were the 'Intruders', remember? It's like seeing half a dozen of Rats running around your building, and leveling the whole block to get rid of them... >_>

there's a lot of things, my personal theory is with the coalition-alliance conflict it disturbed them, and so they sent that super gun ship and of course it fired and blew up the sun. but later in the campaign Orilion explains that they don't have the resources to take on the colonies so they took the covert option and infiltrated the colonies government and hence tried to turn the colonies against each other. so pretty much their plan was to come in after the colonies had teared each other apart they could come in and then decimate the remaining forces.
