I have easily spent about... 1.2 billion credits on my RM cruiser (with a couple of outfit changes). But with a standard cap 4 armor... Your bret destroyer should cost about 280 million. With a cap 8, around 1.1 billion.
you could always not get one... my pirate finds himself getting chased out of bretonia by a destroyer of some description <strike>almost</strike> every time he visits the place.

Indeed, at least 2 light mortars, maybe some pulses too...
On my Rheinland Cruiser I only use one mortar, but two pulses.
The rest is equipped with standard Rheinland turrets.
To have only one mortar has a disadvantage though - you can't destroy gunboats that easily. If you have two mortars and catch a gunboat not paying attention while it's shields are down, it's toast. A double-mortar hit kills almost every gunboat.
I haven't use the Bretonian cruiser though...
But I think most of its turrets only face forward.
Depending on what you want to do with it - either fight fighters/bombers or (GBs/)cruisers/BS - your loadout changes.
I'm not sure about the firing arc, but if I'm right and most turrets only face forward, it would be good to use it only as anti-Cap.
I don't think it looks that bad, but I'd always prefer my Rheinland Cruiser.
As I said, I don't like the turret "placement". The problem you are going to have with this ship is finding fitting enemies. Either you face (small) bombers/fighters, or small GBs and superheavy GBs from Kusari. Only the BS from Kusari are easy targets for you, and you can't go close to them.
So at the moment I think they are outclassed by the Kusari "counterparts", since they are far more agile. But once Gallia is "open", you will have enemies which are of equal size and agility.
Would I buy one of those ships?
Maybe once .86 is out. But at the moment I don't see much use in it. But hey, as I said - I haven't used one yet (besides from testing it in SP for a few minutes). So maybe it's better than I think it is...

Once the new version is up are all the accounts saved?
