**A great 12 hours and within thus time, I bring news of further talk with the Maltan Nation my Lord...I have come into contact with that of Emissary Corino...A very educated woman and pilot none the less**
**After a nice talk for what seemed forever, she very kindly asked for one of the many pleasure Gallia offers....I was more then willing to accept her request and brought her small order to her...With a few remaining bottles in the hold..I decided to travel to Malta, and my Lord....I could not believe what I saw**
**Could such a thing really be what the Cerberus group told us about?...The Maltanese called them "Great Spirits"....I am not sure which to believe as of thies moment...In Languedoc, I have a different story...Iet seems a group of IMG ships named UMWS has declared us on somewhat of a wanted list...I am requesting your permission to laugh at them for such and will let you decide on how to treat them..Here is proof of their declaration**
**I returned to Malta afterwards and was welcomed by a great fleet of Maltan warships....Strange in design yes, but powerful...Possibly rivalling that of the Royals...Which brings me to my next report...Emissary Corino has given us a job for all of the Legion...We are promised a reward for our actions should we succeed in our mission...I do believe thies will strengthen our relations more if we do so...I have sent her request to you through the appropriate channels my Lord..The Legion will await your response**
**That is all to report as of today....Vulpe out**

I am honoured to have been accepted as the latest recruit into your distinguished ...........family, and I look forward to a fruitful association with you all.
I am pleased to report that despite my lack of combat experience, Lord Enzo su Sable was gracious enough to accompany me in my first two missions as a proud member of the Legion des Damnes. Although both missions were mine Lord Enzo took the lead and allowed me to fly as his wingman since he is an experienced combat pilot while I have difficulty hitting a barn door.....from the inside! I am pleased to inform you that both missions, assassinations posted on the Gallic Brigands job boards, were carried out successfully and I even managed to make a positive contribution to the outcomes. Although on the second mission, I barely made it back to Valence Base in Dauphine on one engine, and that was trailing smoke.
I am grateful to Lord Enzo for thr valuable experience and look forward to the day I can be classed as a valued combat pilot as well as a smuggler of repute and will continue to report my progress.
Salut,
Bernard (Podgie) Rondolet

I wish to report that while travelling to Valence Base in Dauphine after a fact finding mission into smuggling routes from Burgundy, I was intercepted by a Gallic Royal Police fighter. I admit that it was my own fault and that I should have been more careful, but his ship was not sporting any tags that identified him as police and I had not checked his IFF.
When he confronted me, I thought that my time had come and I was taken so by surprise that I actually stopped at his orders rather than attacking him. As I drifted in space, my mind racing in how best to react, he slowly circled my ship. I was just about to engage my thrusters and open fire on him when he began to question me.
Fortunately the GRP are so thick that putting them out of their misery would be doing them a favour! Realise, I am flying through Dauphine space in a Gallic Brigands Cuirassier Heavy Fighter, displaying Gallic Brigands IFF and a Recruit ID, while he questions me as to my loyalty and reason for being here. The conversation went like this;
GRP: "Stop, what are you doing here?"
ME: "Mais oui. Is there a problem mssr?"
GRP: "What is your ingame nationality?"
ME: "I am Gallic"
GRP: "Prove it by helping me attack these Gallic Brigands (npc) ships!
ME: "Certainly mssr"
(Waits until he engages Brigands, hits cruise and flies in opposite direction laughing head off)
Mon Dieu, thank you that law and order in Gallia is in such safe hands.
Although I considered shooting him the back and destroying what is obviously a recessive gene in the gallic gene pool, I reconsidered in the hope that he may one day become Commissioner of Police. For with him in charge our future would be guaranteed to be indeed a bright one.
It is with deep regret that I must inform you that I failed to carry out your orders to perform a reconaissance mission to determine the defenses that the Gallic Royal Police have recently been installing around Avallon Station in the Burgundy System. I was on route to the Burgundy Jumphole in the Dauphine System and was just passing the Privas Planetary Cluster when I was ambushed by 6 GRP Heavy Fighters. Although taken by surprise, I was able to destroy 4 for the fighters, when 2 Royal Navy Very Heavy Fighters and a Royal Navy Bomber also joined in the attack on me. I was successful in eventually destroying all 8 fighters and the bomber, but in doing so my Cuirassier received so much damage that it proved impossible to complete the mission. I tried Patron, but it is with great shame that I admit that although I did manage to make it to the Champagne System, I was forced to dock at Montard Base for repairs. I am told that my craft is so severely damaged that it will be days before it is fit to fly again.
Patron, I submit myself to your mercy and am prepared to endure what ever punishment you deem fitting for my abject failure.
In the meantime, I am forced to confine myself to Montard Base while I await your decision.

Bonsoir mes amis,
This is Felix Leclerc, with my first report.
Me and this handsome young lady called Hina Moreau were taking a trip around Beaune, when suddenly some Royals attacked us. However, we took them out quickly and I managed to tractor in one of their pods. Fortunately, a cruiser, the "RNS-Gazelle" came by. So I had this awesome idea: Instead of using that Royal pilotess for something else, I'd try to get some money for her. So, after some talking, the capitaine agreed on giving me 250 grands for his petite amie. Some new shoes finally!
It is funny to see how you can to business with Royals nowadays.
Au revoir, - Felix Leclerc, Bandit of the Legion des Damnes

**My Lord..Over the past we have traded one enemy for another...Been a pride of Gallia to the dreary days of our new beginnings...Today I have news of a new enemy...The people of Malta call them Corsairs..They have told me of them to be of barbaric nature and their words have not strayed...I was on a simple mission of studying Cardimine growing and ways to help improve them as such when I bared witness to a fleet of the unknown**
**My Lord...These ships...Have got to be the ugliest thiengs I have ever seen...I had first thought of them to be of Junker design but I may be wrong...Their designs prove thus of canniblaistic nature...And after seeing a few of the Maltan fleet destroyed I had no choice but to assist**
**Fearsome as they are...Together we fell two cruisers and two Battleship classes...I shall leave this review up to you my Lord**

Today I took our newest recruit for an intoductory tour of the Dauphine system. Merde, but he is an eager young fighter with the light of cattle burning in his eyes! I gifted him with my spare Cuirassier HF, the +LE+Le.Pimpernel, which he will rename in due course. During in tour, it came to our attention that two Gallic Royal Navy pilots were about there business in the Burgundy system (probably harrasing innocent civillians as ususal), and l''enfant begged to be allowed to deal with these 'cochone'.
I agreed that we would go and see what they were up to and we proceeded to Burgundy, where I sent out a call on the system channel to see if they had the guts to meet us and test their skills against ours in combat. I was immediately answered by one of these supercilious upstarts who appeared to expect some sort of a dialogue. When I laid down the gauntlet before them and challenged them to meet myself an a wingmen near Planet Yonne, all I got was message asking me, "Why such and out of the way place?", to which I taunted them with, "Are you afraid that no-one will come to your rescue there?".
After some minutes I received a further message from them telling me to "enjoy the scenery over there!" and despite waiting waiting a decent length of time, I received no further messages from them and they failed to show their cowardly derrieres to us. They are obviously to afraid to face true fighter pilots from Le Legion. After a further 5 minutes, we engaged and destroyed several of the scum showing Gallic Royal Police IFFs and returned to base to refuel.
The GRN pilots who showed such cowardice were called Victor Depardieu and Aubert Giroux. If they should be seen showing their cowardly faces in the vicinity of any pilots of Le Legion, they should be reminded of their bravery in the face of the enemy.
In the meantime I commend our new recruit for his bravery and fighting spirit. When he has earned his right to be a true Gallic Brigand, I would be honoured to fly as his wingman anytime.

Bonjour,
A few days ago I have passed the Tau Systems on my Gunboat, the Guillotine, and it turned out to be a profitable but dangerous trip once again.
First, I met those two mineurs who decided to run and call for help...
Then I met another one, but this one made a wise choice
After that, the IMG launched 3 of their gunboats to stop me. I did not want to risk anything, so I decided to pull out and managed to outmaneuver them.
Then I headed back to Reunion where I docked the Guillotine for repairs....
Also, I have read through some of your reports.
Bernard, why should I bother punishing you for damaging your ship? It is your ship, it's your problem. Your money. Just see to get it fixed soon, when you will need it. Other than that, I have seen you are a brave man. But be careful, bravery comes before the fall.....
And to you Vulpe, these "Corsairs" you have told me of are indeed disturbing news. It may have been your decision to help les Maltese deal with them, however, should you ever meet one of them in space, and none of the Maltese are around, only attack in self-defense, there is no need to attack someone you have no business with......bien, unless you decide to make yourself a "little profit", if you know what I mean....
This was all, au revoir - Enzo du Sable, Lord of the Legion des Damnes

**My Lord...A slow today in the Tau's and Gallia...It seems that our skills in espianoge have become most benifitcial to Les Maltanese...I have seen an increase in their activities in the Gallic borderlands and I must say I am so far impressed with their actions...Other then that I have talked to Madamouiselle Corino and I request you talk to her as well about our little agreement..Other then that, nothing to report my Lord...Vulpe out...**

**With great risk, comes greater rewards my Lord...In the past 24 hours, I 'ave borne witness to that phrase...From our excursion into the House of Le Bretoniea...To the massive USI convoy we escorted in the depths of the night...We continue our march towards greatness...With the help of the Council, A mighty GRN cruiser was fallen...And a simple remark of hello is leading to a strange talk with people called 'Gaians'...My lord...Our continued efforts are bringing us back to our true glory that once befelled all Legionnares...It is proof....We are returning...**
