If you want to get them to stop, all you need to do is change your laws regarding cap usage (as an RP base for any control), and talk to them, in my experience dealing with new/inexperienced players, the vast majority of them will listen if you present some sort of authority. And to those who don't, that may involve some work, though the Court we have has never been that much work.

It does not take huge amounts of time. It does not take huge amounts of work.

But it DOES make a big difference to the people on the other end (namely the Corsairs), who will no longer have 6 Outcast Battleships dock-killing people at Crete every day or two.


Edit: And yes, to improve, they need an example. Why not set one?

yeah, im the benitez getting chased around by the tridents while trying to punch big holes in the sabre.

a less than stellar day for the MSN fleet.

my opinion: you guys did good in not pewpewing the titans with the big cap ships, but the GB's should've held off. Big space battles are EPIC fun. but when you see it's just titans and one capship, come in two waves or hold off until we can get a decent amount of numbers on our side.

This is the problem with parking half the cap fleet on Freeport 9. we can't see a build up of forces, and we dont have a time to organise a scrambled defense. If you guys withdraw your fleet to Malta, you'll have more fun.


Suggestion: remove the quick docking points from freeport 9.

I have to agree with monty on this one. But with jameson as well (I'm switzerland)

sitting at the sidelines going 'its doomed! we're all f-ed!' doesn`t solve anything.

But Jamy is right. You cant sit on the server 24/7 to be ready to jump in when an OC lolfleet starts to amass.

and yes, in my 101st days I saw first hand just how, eh, 'silly' some OC caps are. and I did try to talk sense into them. and failed on occasion.

but also succeeded. and thats the point here.

Try. Should I remake my 101st as a rp character only who lives to slaughter the disobedient? I doubt the 101st will be liked for it.

I think some OC folks got tired of raiding Gamma with fighters only, just to face 3 cap 8 solaris ossies raping around everything, THAT'S what kills fun aswell.
Now, ofc I don't support this dock killing, there is nothing more lame then this. And if something like this is happening maybe someone should call an admin to solve it. Since those indies rarely listen to official factions.
