This is not a call to peace. Calls to peace do not involve anyone labeling anyone anything, or saying anyone was right or wrong.
They involve saying "hey that was a bad encounter, things got a bit heated, we'll try and make it fun next time" except longer.
I am talking more of your forum conduct.
Personally, I found your in-game conduct of calling someone a moron a bit far personally, but within the scope of things.
Also, I have no idea who you are.
Well, unless they say they think I called them immature, you are wrong.
Also, if you already expressed your point, let other people post, I don't want a thread closed because you feel like flooding it.

I was just saying how it came off.
Yet again you ignore who is truly flooding it.
I don't really think that Valeri or any other [LN] wanted to offend player behing the .:j:. char on purpose.
But, I think that using that kind of insults is crossing the limit, words like "retarded" is really to much in my opinion. Probably [LN] players didn't wanted to insult on purpose, but using such words does make it look like that, and I think folks should chose their words maybe more carefully.
I mean, everyone from [LN] in their feedback talked a lot about this game playing for fun, all fun fun, we are here to have fun, to get away for a bit from RL, and there is nothing wrong with that,
but, let me ask you something:
Is it not possible to have fun without using words for which ones is questionable are they within RP limits, for which is quite possible that they crossed that limit and do sound like personal insults.
If 6,7 people confirmed that they felt insulted, do you really think that there is no way you overreacted a bit?
And finally, if one feels offended, why he would not complain about it, if we are here for fun, then it means we should talk over things like this, not jumping on conclusion, calling cry babies, and immeditely making any complains invalid like there is no place for mistake.
You are talking like I'm screaming at everyone calling them a retard or a moron in every opportunity I get.
It's not like that. I called a character out "you got to be mentally retarded" was the line, after a long, long debate about something my character found to be trivial. He had risked his life on the field, trying to take down a criminal who had shot his friend. After said criminal had managed to survive, giving Maximo no opportunity to claim his revenge he was angry and wanted the Junkers to do something. Instead of doing something, they began discussing with him over transmissions. I planned out the anger of my character, and how he gradually just became more and more vulgar towards the Junkers because he started feeling they were on the criminal side.
It was a planned insult to signal that he had lost it with them. Not me as a player, MY character. It was a built up, but I don't go shouting "Haha you are a retard" at every single character I meet in-game or in transmissions.
There is a significant difference, and if a character can't use light insulting words without it turning into a hypocritical blown up debate where everyone wants to play the white knight, and you got people victimizing themselves just to make the situation look worse. Yes, you will hear me call you a cry-baby. Because clearly you cannot differentiate between players and characters. And you just want to feel offended for the sake of feeling offended.
I'm gonna say this. If you feel I have broken the rules, you are more than welcome to report me, if the Admins find my conduct to be wrong, they can sanction me and I will know I have crossed the line. But I personally do not feel I have since I have stayed in character at all times and used words I see on a daily basis being thrown out in system chat.
I begin to grow more and more interested as to why it suddenly is a big problem when I act out a character that is supposed to be insultive.

For the record, since you showed some doubt before in knowing what I spoke of, this was the forum conduct I was referring to.
As I explained in the Feedback thread, this wasn't the first time they had complained. I had previously before all of them amassing the Feedback thread and spamming "/signed" received a PM from Hawk stating that my words were found to be offensive by them. The first PM was: Oct 31 2010, 01:55 PM
To which I explained that I was acting only in character.
To which he explained he doesn't care because he found it offensive.
To which I said that if he feels I have broken any rules he is free to report me, but that I'm not going to change the personality of a character because of a few words that are of character-insulting nature.
The reason why I called them a crybaby in that thread is because they provoked me, and although you can argue for the fact that I should have remained calmed. I apologize, sometimes when blatant ridiculousness is presented to me such as assuming I was making fun of someone who is an uncle to a special needs child by making fun of a character's intelligence, I lose my temper.
The thing about RP is that it reflects how people would like to behave, and rarely reflects how people dont like to behave.
Because everyone is free to RP what he wants to RP and nobody is forced to RP anything.
People who RP as arses RP as arses for a reason.
Thats why players behind the characters are often associated with the behavior of their characters, even if they think its unjustified.
If you wish to disociate yourself from your character'S behavior, make it obvious by making your character a charicature, so that the other person notices it and enjoys it aswell.
In my experience, players who flew around calling everyone they met "idiot" and "wanker" also turned out to be total arses while you were OORP in group with them.
You might be different, but people will be prejudiced because its often true for other people.

This explains a lot, if it was mentioned at start, maybe wouldn't caused such attention.

Thing is, 7 people think they weren't light as you consider them light. Obviously I can't know in which context and wording they were used, so I can't see the clear situation, but are they all wrong?
What other reason you think they have for complaining? Do they really hate [LN] that they would throw mud like this on faction? I really doubt that.

I am repeating myself ehh, but the choice of words maybe could have been made better.
Ahh, well, heard some explanations that I wanted, I am out of this thread now.
