Hale here.
Well, I think first presenting the good news is wise.
Lieutenant Commander Samuel Zanders, due to a solid tactical mind and aptitude for command, as well as continued excellent service to the Liberty Navy, you have been promoted to the rank of Captain. You will also be heading up the combat training program for our new recruits.
Second, Commander Hank Kapinos, by his own request has been demoted to the rank of Lieutenant. Thank you for your continued serice Mr kapinos. You're a valued member of the navy, and considered to be one of our more talented pilots. I understand entirely that you'd rather be in the cockpit of a guardian that behind a desk. You are also far more valuable to me on the front line.
Third, a slightly less happy announcement. Lieutenant Commander Maximo Valeri has been demoted to the rank of Lieutenant. You attitude is not deemed appropriate for someone in a mid command position. Frankly, I find it hard entrusting the lives of thsoe under my command to you Mr Valeri. Not to emntions your abrasive manner has caused a good number of complaints to float over my desk in recent weeks. That said, you are a useful individual in a combat situation. Watch yourself Valeri, because we're watching you too.
We are currently looking at a major reconstruction of the mid command ranks, and this is the start of that. There will be further announcements regarding this in the near future.
The following is a report of my patrol last night of the New York System.
I had begun several sweeps from Manhattan in a full circuit visiting Fort Bush, Norfolk Ship yards and West Point Acadamy. After some time, I came across a hostile at Norfolk, of whom was a Indiependant trader operating a Behemoth Transport. Soon it was clear that the captain would not conform with our Law's. With the assistance of Agent Black, I gave the order for it's forced removal from Liberty. I then gave Agent black leave to assist Task Force 7 in an operation, whilst I maintained my position at Norfolk Shipyards. Which in due time a Navy Officer opened fire on myself with no prior communication's. I was able to hold him off till Agent Black arrived, in which it's destruction quickly followed, as well as Agent Black's vessel being destoryed too. I quickly then picked his pod and returned him to the Battleship Missouri. I had no time however to take guncams of the attacker, hence the Liberty Navy Officer in question.
Soon afterwards whilst continueing patrols I came across a Zoner Conference Gunboat. To my surprise it was carrying a certain item. Evidence is provided here.
However, seconds later I was attacked by an Order operative who had made no communications at all, whilst catching me completely by surprise. Nearly being destoryed in the process. Due to the attaack I could not enforce the law upon the Zoner, and do not know if he had any more such items that are Illegal under our Law. This following is of a personnal note. I have seen a disturbing increase in the trade of such items. I hope that I am not the only one who is seeing this increase as a whole, and I advise extreme caution to any one approaching a suspect with these items. I know you all do a very good job, but please keep an eye out for this Zoner as he may still have this Artifact, and there may be more on the black market that we do not know about.
Further more the evidence I have taken will be forwarded to the High Command with in the Liberty Security Force to decide the next course of action regarding the item and the Zoner. Untill further noticeapproach with caution. Secondly for the High Command of the Liberty Navy the Officer whom attacked myself was not part of the Primary fleet. The Officer in qeustion is a member of the Secondary Fleet carrying now LN- Ident's. He/she does have correct papers to be a Liberty Navy Pilot and with correct IFF. I cannot remember the comm ID of the Officer either has it all happened so fast. However I have gathered from various members of the public that he has been demanding large sums of credits from the general public. These sums have said to be in the region of 100 Million Sirius Credits with explaination to why, I have found out is that the Officer wishes to gain our very own gunboat. I will not be suprised if you have already heard of this Officer, but I wish to inform you of what crimes he has committed.

Sirs,
I am extremely happy to report that this evening myself and my brother John were highly successful in thwarting a number of pirate raids in California and New York.
First, a Zoner gunboat was intercepted by myself and Kalan Yamoto of the LSF. The said Gunboat was transporting Nomads. The gunboat was ordered to drop them, which it did, and I blasted the beggers into hell. Kalan then told me of a mysterious aliment affecting him currently, I recommended he saw the LSF medics as soon as possible.
Next, a call came in from John to haul ass to the Magellan gate in Cali. A number of hackers and outcasts were attacking John and an indie Bounty hacker (also named John). I entered the fray and diverted one of the hacker's off John's tail. They then proceeded to flee and we stayed on the 'cast. A game of cat and mouse pursued as we attempted to down him. First he made a line for the gate, which was expertly blocked by Assault1 - Then he tried to escape via the Cortez hole - which again was expertly blocked by the bounty hunter. The 'cast was spaced by John's guns.
Lastly, on our way off shift and into the bar we encountered Admiral Malrone who was taking the Minneapolis to Pennsylvania. Assault1 made us aware that two rouges were on the lane towards the Missouri and were standing in the way of our drinks. Said rogues were ordered to release the pilots in their custody and pay a fine of 1million credits to cover the damage to the trade lane and miscellaneous costs involved in treating the said pilots. The fine was also to cover standing in the way of our drinks, this shall be denied if brought to public view as no such remarks were ever made to the rogues.. The pilots were released but the fine was not paid. As such, John and I engaged the rogue fighter and bomber, both of whom died very quickly.
As a side note, the said rogues were in civi ships, using outcast weaponry. Perhaps it is best to keep an eye on them both in the future.

Greetings Sirs/Ma'ams,
This is Recruit Remus Sius reporting that I've completed 8 hours of my trial time and have successfully acquired the Liberty Navy Guard.
During the completion of my training assigments, I angered several Rogue and Hacker ships to which they tried to chase me all the way to Fort Severn. Enemy ships
I had 2 hours prior to the acquirement of my LN Guard. So I decided to patrol the rest of it out. During my patrol on the Cali system. I saw a suspicious comms of a trader. Based on my knowledge, he was being pirated. Once I headed towards the Willard Trade Lane, I immediately spotted a PT. I chased it all the way to Cali Minor where it stopped.
I circled around NY after that and upon reentering Cali I found a Phantom attacking a Junker. The previous PT was also present and an OC fighter was also engaging the Phantom. I engaged the Phantom but to no avail. My circuitry was responding oddly.... I wasn't able to shoot well so I provided a distraction whilst the Junker escaped. Phantom attacks Junker
The next day, I still had an hour and 30 minutes in my flight time. I hooked up with Vice Admiral Malone in his Dreadnought, the LNS-Minneapolis, He ordered me to patrol NY then Colorado and finally California. First I patrolled New York, finding signs of a SCRA ship but not of the trade lanes. I went to Colorado were it was clear as a toilet seat. Next I went back to Manhattan to find two Xeno ships. There were LSF ships on the scene and they took control of the situation but an odd thing happened. Junker ships suddenly showed up and kicked the Xenos out of Manhattan. The Junkers wished that this incident be noted by the Liberty Navy. Junkers vs Xenos
Vice Adm Malone then ordered me to California. Prior to entering Cali, I received transmission that the SCRA was moving to Manhattan. I contacted the Vice Adm and he immediately went back from target practice in Texas. I searched around Cali for any pirates but found none. I requested permission to head back to NY to which the Vice Adm granted. I was ordered to Manhattan where the SCRA was sitting behind. Upon scanning the vessel it was dubbed as "KSDG-L3375 Storm Coalition Gunboat". The ship's XO's name is Commander Daemon Steele. He was on a mission to quell the lies about the so-called Glorious Coaltion. I was ordered by the Vice Adm to question the man and gave me control of the situation. His mission was a personal experiment and was in no way going to harm people. During which a LN Gunboat named Cerberus endangered the mission by telling the Gunboat to leave. That Gunboat specifically didn't follow orders and proceeded to tell the ship to leave or he will open fire. Cmd Steele warned the Gunboat that he wasn't there to show hostilities but open a Q&A forum for those who are curious about the Coalition. We exchanged coffee to show my peaceful intention; although, I didn't have the necessary firepower to destroy the ship. The Executioner wasn't able to scan the more complicated equipment of the ship so I brought the Douglas, which had more sophisticated scanners, to scan the interior of the ship. After that, I proceeded to write this report.

Well, today I had many things to do. First I with few officers found a pilot that carried 25 Wild pilots. We ordered him to drop them, but he chose fleeing. Sad for his ship as Junkers were given the task to get scrap metal of his wreck. Those Wild pilots were then tractored in by Unione Corse pilot. I don't know what he was doing in Liberty, but after he was asked to drop those pilots - he complied! But before we could tractor them in, he vaporized them all. Without any notice or warning I shot at him, but he was too agile to hit, so another officer was drawn into the fight. With little problem we dealt with him too. After that I patroled all the way to Colorado and found 3 rogues! 2 in Scyllas and 1 in bomber. I gathered forces just enough to deal with the threat, but once we got to them they fled to asteroid field. We caught up with them, sadly they jumped through a jump hole. After a minute I decided to jump in too, as many officers were in their cargo hold. They were stupid enough to engage us, adn so we had to obliterate the threat. I have filmed half of the fight so I am attaching the results.

Matt is pretty damn pleased with himself when he enters his room to note the events of the morning, he quickly calms down and assumes his proper persona to record the tape
Sirs,
The morning started with recruit David Ripper having some rogue tear him apart. Luckily he managed to eject. I found him in Virginia looking as if his confidence was in tatters. Pulling himself together, I gave him a quick bit of training before Angelina came in. Angel, David and I trained each other well this morning and it helped me prepare for the afternoon's fun.
I got a call from recruit Remus Sius stating there were Hellfire Legion fighters at West Point. I raced to his location where I was confronted with the said HF and an indie Hacker.
Our presence was graced by a certain Admiral Malrone, who dispensed with the Minneapolis and joined us to attack.
The battle was a fierce one, I was the focus of the enemies attack - however my confidence in the Admiral and our latest recruit was not misplaced. Ultimately the indie hacker fled, however Remus had to call off his advance due to engine trouble.
Jack and I continued our advance where I was rewarded with a perfect mine hit which was followed up by my magma shots. The HF fighter exploded in a beautiful haze. The second HF fighter seeing his comrade destroyed fled quickly into the badlands.
I now owe Jack a couple of beer's at the bar, that will take place later tonight. I've run into some navigational trouble again and my ship's all out of whack. I'm taking the afternoon down in the fighter bay to fix RED ONE.

Sir/Ma'am
*The Recruit glances at the camera, by the looks of things he hasn't slept in a while. A pair of gleaming parade shoes are visible on the shelf behind him.*
I'm afraid I've got some bad news, Sir.
We lost two good people yesterday. Our Comrades in the LPI were intercepted by a Rogue Fighter, losses are as follows.
Officer Harris Donald - MIA Recruit Officer Travis Jones - KIA
Matt Bradley. Recruit Jone's body was tractored in during negotiations. Secondary File
Jones died of vacuum exposure following the destruction of his ship... The Rogue, Matt Bradley, did unsavoury things to the body, Sir. He tore off arms... I should've pulled him in, Dammit.
*Ripper looks away for a moment, lost in the past.*
Officer Donald was still alive, although taken captive. I would deem his continuing survival unlikely.
Bradley, the one who shot them down, had something wrong in the head. He refused any offer of freedom or the return of captured Rogue pilots during negotiations, stating that he would do similar things to my body... That's about where the shooting started.
I daresay if Sub-Lieutenant Smith hadn't turned up when he did I wouldn't be making this report.
Following that... event. I was ordered to Virginia for further training, I think I saw some improvement, still not a patch on our heroic senior officers. *He allows a slight grin to sneak in.*

Three Recruits have failed written exams and are awaiting resits. During the year one Recruit was discharged due to behavorial issues.
Name: Ripper, D.
Rank: Recruit
Grade: Distinction
Requested Craft: BDR-845 'Avenger'
Requested Posting: Fighter Support aboard LNS-Anchorage
Instructors Notes:
Ripper has been a commendable trainee, though not, I'm afraid through his combat prowess. The boy displays considerable leadership skills, on occasion acting as Platoon Sergeant in the absence of Petty Officer Cooper or myself. His uniform was typically impeccable.
However; Ripper's combat skill remains dismal, though his use of the environment was noted. The Recruit has not destroyed a single enemy fighter in simulations through firepower, instead luring them into planetary bodies or the range of friendly stations. Whether this technique will be effective in real combat remains to be seen.
I endorse Recruit Ripper for promotion to Ensign.
