To: [color=#FFFFFF]Freeport Nine Broadcast System Comm. ID:Commissar Leon Mendel Priority:HIGH Subject:We’re Sorry
---Communications Opened---
The breach of the Freeport Nine blockade was a tragedy that should never have happened.
I am Leon Mendal, spokesperson for the Sirius Coalition.
The Coalition will take full responsibility for repairing the damage caused to Freeport Nine over this incident. We’ve organized a portion of our total national budge to assist in the restoration and recovery of Freeport Nine after its recent troubles.
We will honour all legitimate claims, and the cost of repairs to the station will not come at the expense of any Zoner inhabitant of the station.
To those affected and your families, I am deeply sorry. Freeport Nine is a vital link for civilian traffic in the Omicrons, and we all feel the impact. To all the brave men and women of this station, facing such trying times, we say thank you.
We know that it is our responsibility to keep you informed and do all that we can to ensure that this never happens again.
We will get this done, and we will make this right!
I appreciate your fast response in these volatile times.
Your apology is accepted. I trust that you are competent enough to ensure this does not happen again. I know that we cannot afford repeats of this incident without severe consequences.
Any reparation costs, or more importantly supplies that the Coalition can send will be appreciated.
