install freelancer win 7

I played freelancer discovery alot on win xp 32bit but now i have a new pc with win 7 64 bit
and i try to install freelancer again it failed
I install freelancer like I did on win xp
freelancer setup
freelander mod manager setup
install freelancer discovery
activate it
start freelancer
update it *

* update dident run
now I have done that I start singelplayer it all works then i go to mulitplayer I dont work beceaus I have a other version and the update dident run so now I start looking on the forum and I find this topic: http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?...pic=115036
I download the setup and then i try to install but it fail: see imaege

I have all system requirements.
and I reinstall freelancer and the mod already but dident work

can someone help me??

When you reinstalled the game and then discovery did you do this:

1/ Uninstall Freelancer

2/ Delete Freelancer folder

3/ Install Freelancer

4/ Install Discovery

??

Dont do that
Follow this instruction :
1. Install freelancer
2. Install Disco FL 4.86 mods
3. Run Disco FL 86
4. Follow the auto update

If your mods install fail probably either your mods or FL installation file is corrupted

Hi, I just reinstalled my Windows 7 Ultimate x64 Bit version and aswell, my Freelancer, simple as that:

-Install Freelancer.
-Install the Discovery Mod, make sure you download it from here http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?...pic=115036
-Launch the game using the Freelancer.exe from the /Freelancer Discovery/EXE location
-Patch
-Play!

I aswell suggest you launch your game using only the *.exe found within the Freelancer Discovery Folder.
If you want to use the Discovery Launchpad simply point to the Freelancer.exe in the Freelancer Discovery folder.

great thanks to you all it works now
now I go make a new ship and start trade some cargo so I can be back fast in the battle:D
I lost my old id with a transport and a battleship:(so I have to start all over
