Greetings Rheinland Command. This is Captain Torin Marshall of the Freelancer Gunboat vessel Vindicator. This is my first of two days on duty in Rheinland space as per agreement with the prior agreement with our mutual employer to purchase Rheinland weaponry for light fighter craft ID Fox Fire. I am not regular Rheinland so I could not leave this report in the Rheinland message dump and it will become clear, if not already, that this is not a bounty cash in but rather a report of my activities in Rheinland space.
I choose to hover around the planet of New Berlin which seemed to pay off. After hours of scanning and monitoring transmissions, by the way New Berlin has a lot more traffic through it then I once thought. As I was saying, I scanned and documented every transport that flew through that part of New Berlin, from time to time leaving my position to scout/patrol various other regions of Rheinland controlled space.
Upon returning to New Berlin I over heard an OMS transport evading fire from a Unioner attack. I took the trade lane to New Berlin and was cut short by the Union fighter disruption of the trade lane. I wasted no time, gave my respects, and sent him on his one way trip to eternity.
Unfortunately, My actions violates Rheinland bounty hunting regulation 1A
Quote: 1a. Only the Bounty Hunter Gunship of the gunboat class may hunt fighter or bomber class ships. Other gunboats may hunt only gunboat class and above (Transports included).
This is why I am not eligible to receive a bounty and why this is just a mission report. I was however able to retrieve a captured military pilot, hand him over to a local medical port and he is recovering.
No other military activity but just one correction or education on my part. I perused a Bowex transport and was able to scan that it was carrying Military vehicles. I took no offensive action other that bantering over the comm. system why he didn't tell me if he was cleared to transport that type of cargo until I pretty much got in his way.
If he's cleared then I won't trouble him any longer.
I hope all is in order for my first day of patrol and look forward to my second and final day.
Good night to you.

Sometimes, when all you want is to gain your freedom, you must be willing to risk it all.
Last day of my two day furlough of sorts from freelancing to work for Rheinland. Very quiet, until a small Liberty fleet entered Hamburg. I wasn't about to attack a Liberty dreadnaught and its gunboat and fighter escort. Suffice to say, the Dreadnaught got bored and the gunboat and fighter left after nearly being blown to bits from the system patrols. I alerted other military patrols and went elsewhere.
This fulfills my employer's contractual obligations as well as my freelancing for free.
Be well Rheinland.

Hello, Admiral. This is Vasili Pupkin, the captain of the SovTransAvto vessel, which was screened by the Freelancer above. If the above Freelancer is working for Rheinland, perhaps he should identify himself as such. I am saying this because the above pilot , when he saw my ship, just sent out a transmission: "Do you have permission to haul that cargo?" With all do respect, why should I answer to anyone I meet in space? Do you agree that there are a lot of random pilots and I have no obligation to describe to any of them where I am going, what I am hauling and do I have the right papers. Basically, the above freelancer did not identify himself as an Rheinland's employee and started asking me questions. I didn't really like that, so I told him to stop making me laugh. And he replied that he has big guns to blow me away and shot at me, taking my shields to less than 50%. I had this gut feeling that this particular freelancer was not just there as a coincidence. So, I took the liberty of being close to a station, on which I immediately docked.
Perhaps you should instruct people to identify themselves as some sort of employee of yours? Because from my perspective, that freelancer is nothing but a flying meat popsicle.
With all your wisdom you can realize that such freelancer can cause an incident with another, more jumpy, pilot. It is up to you how you will react to my note, I am here just stating the fact that he was a tad annoying.
With all due respect,
Vasili Pupkin, Cpt of the SovTransAvto.
