Of all the corporate factions in Discovery, I think Synth Foods has to be the most hated, having two entire factions solely dedicated to their destruction on their most profitable route, the other 4 unlawful factions on the same route notwithstanding:D
Why does it hardly have any players? It could be *the* testbed faction for escort performance.
I´m pretty new, thought about making a Junker but a Synth Foods trader or escort also sounds good for a beginner I guess... clear, defined roles, easy RP and not that much lore... should I do it? ^^

It happens probably more than a shipment of SynthPaste but to get one that plays back, to get someone who understands their role and insults the hell out of my character before bravely denying my demands.
It's the best thrill from a game you can get; to fit the character, that you have created and lovingly crafted, perfectly with their ultimate goal.
Congratulations to all who uphold smaller factions, especially in Kusari. Kudos to you all. :ylove:
I'm just going to point out that Kishiro as well has a male directorship on top. Maybe women can advance further in there, but they still can't get on top, so I'd ask not to make it sound like you'd be our arch-enemy. That's the blood dragons job;)
However, I also enjoy encounters with local pirates over the random independent pirate. I'd wish there were more dragons around though, that might even raise interest in people flying as our escorts.

Well if you are really going to ship Synth Paste, you'll probably get off lighter by the average pirate out there since he'll consider your cargo not worth that much. But if you happen to run into a LWB or Farmer you better start running or your cargo will be gone. That said: It's much more thrilling to have actual enemies to run from (made my first Samura char back in .84 when the Blood Dragons still dominated Sigma-13. Got me into some interesting pursuits.)

Yeah small factions are nice, it's more fun when something is really special than when it happens every hour. It's also why I am fond of unofficial groups, less massive, but at least as fun as those who are massive. Although I'm of course also in the 3rd most active faction of the server, the Hellfire Legion:P, but in general I prefer small factions. It's also more personal usually.
I was out and about on my AFA last night (mostly to watch the convoy) but I caught two traders going to Okinawa with Synth.
The first one seemed to know what was going down, despite a horrible indi ship name, and dropped the cargo. The second just whined alot about wanting to talk, so I got bored and attacked it.
It seems to be that synth is on the rise again!
