I've been going over the Freighter and Transport ship stats with FLStat but have been confused by a couple of the fields in that program, specifically these:
MaxAngularSpeed - Essentially this is turning speed, correct? i.e. how fast your nose swings through a given arc?
AngularDistanceFrom 0-0.5sec - This one I have no clue.
TimeTo90%MaxAngSpeed - Is this how quickly your ship reaches its maxiumum Angular Speed?
ReverseFraction - No idea.
NudgeForce - No idea.
StrafeForce - No idea.

Nudge force would be the ship's momentum...
Angular distance from 0-0.5 sec should be how much the ship's turned after 0.5 secs in degrees
Strafe force- your sideways momentum
You're right about max angular speed and timeto90%, i think.
I don't know these for sure, but looking at the stats, they're at least something similar xD

1) Look at the Impulse speed column. Many ships list at "80.07" and many at "80.13" for example. Does the number to the right of the decimal have something to do with Thruster speed? If not, I don't see where maximum thruster speed appears in FLStat.
2) I am confused on some of the shields listed for freighters and transports. For example, I see the Large Train and Behemoth can have up to Fr7 shields, and the Lux Liner can have Fr8. What I don't see is Transport shields listed, so I'm assuming Fr7 is a transport shield? Is Fr8 a gunboat shield?

3) Does anyone know how cruise engine warmup time is set? Looks to me like FLStat doesn't dig up that particular info on each ship. By my testing, Starflyers take 5 seconds to warm up (same as a Behemoth!) while a Slipstream takes 3 seconds. Just curious if there is a comprehensive list anywhere.

1) Not a clue, most likely just accidental rather than anything sinister or useful. 2) Igiss reclassified the shields when he made Disco. You've more or less got the jist 3) It's done in the engine file so far as I remember. Where everything else abut the engine is specified. Shape, colour, effect, trial length, etc
