Sender: Sergeant JD Masket Date: 24/12/818 Subject: New York patrol report Arrests: One smuggler, one Gunship
Firefly cardamine smuggler thought he was clever, sneaking around hiding right in front of me. He was wrong. He landed and the cargo was seized on the landing pad, he was then instructed to take off where he was fined $4,000,000
Later on I caught a gaggle of gunboats, with a pirate transport and two bombers. First it was just three ships sitting by the lane in california. A trader showed up, cruising above plane. They tried to intercept and a few more pirates came out of nowhere, I managed to disrupt several of them and the trader gained enough distance to escape.
Enraged, the whole gang (three gunboats, two barghests, and a pirate transport watching) took on my Liberator. They couldn't hit me and I managed to mess up the bombers badly enough that they fled. Backup in the form of a Xeno came along, and we worked on one of the gunboats for a while, until the Navy finally arrived. At which point they scattered like roaches and we managed to blow one of the gunships.
Received an emergency call concerning a LR Gunboat somewhere in California system. The request was sent for a bomber or two to help Liberty Navy engage and destroy the rogue. All I had at my disposal was my trusted Libby, so I thought, what the heck. I'm going.
I couldn't find any gunboat, but I did see two Liberty Navy personel in a tough fight with a Mercenary named HH|Haze. Mercs have been attacking LN ships with regularity of late, and today was no different. Now, I don't like butting my nose where it don't belong, but I don't want to appear unfriendly to our Naval forces either.
So, I just put myself out there as a standby in case I was needed. Only a few seconds later, my offer of assistance was taken up and before I knew it, I was in deep with the Mercenary. Three on one probably wasn't the fairest of fights and this merc put in a great showing despite the odds. I have to give credit where it is due, the pilot had talent. Unfortunately for him, his talent ran short against greater numbers.
I scored a few hits on him and he eventually bugged out. I was thinking of giving chase, but I don't like to pour salt in the wound... Anyways, I'm glad I was able to help out, and hopefully, the LN will save my butt some day when I need it.
Met up with a Hegemon ship with an ALG waste disposal ID named Tyros_.... Normally, I don't bother with Hegemons. They do their job and leave well enough alone. That is, unless they are carrying Nomads.
This particular pilot decided that he would rather not give them up when I demanded them of him. He seemed to think that they would fetch a fair price on the open market. Well, of course, that was unacceptable.
Several ships picked up our conversation on the local comms and were likewise shocked at what Tyros_... had to say. Despite the danger of nomadic infestation that could occur, he still refused to relinquish them for immediate destruction. I was beginning to worry that maybe the pilot had indeed become infected.
Finally, only after an implied threat of force, Tyros_... jettisoned the nomads and they were promptly destroyed. Seems odd when someone has to be forced to do the right thing for the protection of our species.
I received a report of one of those Research.Drone ships in New York and I scrambled out in my bomber. I was soon joined by Detective Travors and a Black Watch Gaudian. After a quick look around, I thought to do a long distance fly-by of Rochester base. I found him there, and managed to get a few guncams of him there. Soon he took off and fled to the Colorado Jump hole. We chased him through the jump hole, and right out of Colorado into Kepler. After the drone fled, we turned and headed to Texas to assist with a reported Rhienland Battleship. We took part in a large search, which included several Navy vessels and the Leavenworth, and found nothing. But an approaching Ion storm forced us to land, and we assumed that the storm dealt with the Rheinlander.
Attached are the guncams of that drone hiding out around Rochester. Maybe someone should get in touch with the Junkers about this?
An interesting evening tonight. I started my patrol from Ft. Bush and headed to Manhattan. Upon Arrival I was immediately set upon by two Xenos, XA-Coral and XA-DeathAdder. This was quite the battle, and ended with me scoring the kill for XA-Coral, and the other kill going to a TF7 pilot that happened upon the fight. After this, nothing exciting happened at all. I patrolled New York, Pennsylvania, and California before returning to Ft. Bush for the evening. Guncams Follow:

Subj: Patrol report from 04.01.819 A.S. ID: Ilya "El Espanol" Ramirez
Was quiet a calm day, but then, when i has heft Fort Bush after a quick lunch and moved towards Norfolk shipyards to check out traffic activity and pirate presence in south regions of the New York system i suddenly runned into Junker Slave liner that was leaving Norfolk. Those junkers are always troublesome so i performed a quick cargo scan and... Bingo! He was carrying not less then 3896 cargo units of Artifacts.
I suddenly broke off from my route and pursuit his ship through the Lane until he broke off the lane jump. Target refused to comply with my direct orders and was acting arrogant and cocky.
I was not able to wait more and performed assault on said vessel, fight took place in dangerous close to NY's sun active zone, my ship took significant heat damage on it's hull plating.
But finally target took a multiple hits on his reactor chamber and that lead to his total destruction.
Cargo has been neutralized successfully, and i returned to nearest Police station.
Sender: Lieutenant JD Masket Date: 18/01/819 Subject: Patrol report, Texas Arrests: One outcast, two pirates
I was flying alongside the LN when we got distress calls from two places. I went to check out texas while they headed off to rescue an Ageria convoy. I ran into a rogue eagle and an outcast falcatta at the gate. The eagle wasn't armed enough to be a threat and hadn't done anything so I let him go, but the outcast was coerced into coming along to sugarland, where he is now incarcerated.
The LN finished up and came to texas, and I went to help them with another gang of trouble makers on the lane from the gate. I joined in and we broke them, one escaped.
+Started my patrol from Mcneil Island having picked up my standard issue Liberator. I then flew into the Colorado system and watched the tradelanes. Nothing to report for Colorado.
+I then entered the New York system and swept the lanes from Fort Bush towards Manhattan. My scanners picked up a ship with an IFF Corsairs Tag. I moved to intercept and alerted Navy vessels in the area, due to the perps ship outclassing mine several times over. A Navy Pilot, Mark Dering responded while quick scans of the suspect revealed him to be Jack.Sparrow. He claimed his IFF transponder was on the fritz since he did not have any ties with Corsairs. Unfortunately, I had to agree with him. For the duration of my patrol, my scanners showed Liberty Navy Vessels as Hostiles, which is documented in my Guncam footage.
The Navy pilot Mark Dering backed up the suspects claims stating his past ties and order me to move along. I complied, but snapped more guncam footage just in case. I found it very suspicous that both were tagged as Hostiles.

+Suddenly I recieved a distress call from the LNS Orion under attack by several pirate cruisers. Joining forces with the Navy pilots, we sped to the California system. We could not find said vessels and the Orion was no where to be seen. We did several sweeps and find no evidence of conflict. Either the Orion fought off her attackers or...well. It was during this sweep we came across a Rheinland Military IFF tagged vessel. Myself and the two Navy pilots who responded quickly stopped and figured out it was another IFF transponder malfunction. He was escorted from the system by the Navy and I continued my sweep.

+ I then came across a Lane Hacker's vessel piloted by a Craig Fisher. I moved to intercept and found the suspect attached to the lanes leading to Planet Los Angeles. A scan on his cargo hold revealed he had 3 police pilots. I ordered him to release them to my custody and he complied. I proceeded to tell him he was suspected of lane disruption and he citied my lack of evidence. Since I did not witness him disrupt the lane and he did comply with my demands for realeasing the police officers, I did not issue a fine. I did, however, make him leave the system. He set cruise for the New York system instead of complying to leave Liberty. Due to the circumstances of the LNS Orion being missing, I alerted the LNS Cape Horn operating in New York of the suspect and continued my search. (//Please ignore my call for him to be all clear. I pressed the wrong channel button//)

+Unfortunately, further sweeps did not find the LNS Orion. The two Navy Pilots with me broke off from the group and I returned to New York and docked on Fort Bush, ending my first patrol.
As I finish this report as a Recruit Officer, I hope I made the correct decisions concerning the issuing of fines that are in keeping with the standards and expectations of Liberty Police Incorporated.
+After a brief lunch on Fort Bush I was hailed by Lt. Masket and he asked me to go on patrol with him. I joined him and in formation we patrolled through the New York System. Thankfully no major occurences sprang up, and the first part of my second patrol remained uneventful. Before Lt. Masket went off duty briefly he tasked me with escorting a special vessel from the Conneticut Jumphole to the Pennsylvania Jumpgate
+During this first escort I recieved an emergency hail from a trade vessel identified as OSC Torched located in Pennsylvania. The pilot reported that at least 3 pirates had been tracking him. He explained he was carrying a cargo hold full of gold, and he was currently docked and waiting escort. I responded as soon as my first escort duty was finished advising the pilot to remain docked. Unfortunately the first escort took quite some time, and with no other officers present, I rushed to Pennsylvania to do a search sweep and link up with the trade vessel as soon as the VIP vessel was secure.
+Coming through the Jumpgate into Pennsylvania I saw one Lane Hacker on my scanners fighting other Police (//NPCs) His scanners quickly picked me up and after a Halt order the pilot fled into a debris cloud. I did not capture any guncam footage of this pilot as my priority at the time was securing the safety of the OSC Torched trade vessel. I then proceeded to do a sweep of the Pennsylvania system, finding only a few low level "civilians" who quickly dispersed. It was then that I recieved another emergency hail from the OSC Torched which was now in New York under attack by unknown amount of hostiles. I rushed to New York and immediately through the Jumpgate I found two Lane Hackers pilots well armed attacking the trade vessel. I advised them to stand down, and they continued to fire on the trader so I engaged. Sadly, before I could make my first pass the trade vessel's hull tore open and the ship went up in a ball of flame and debris. The trade vessel put several pirates out of action and I can attest that these vessels were destroyed purely in self defense.
After dispatching the trade vessel, the two Lane Hacker pilots proceeded to focus their attention fully on me. Outnumbered and outgunned I sent an emergency mayday with my coordinates in hopes that Navy or other officers had come on duty. Unfortunately, no one was able to reply, a dogfight ensued. I'm happy to report I was able to eject before the pirates finished me off. My escape pod is enroute to Planet Denver. Attached is evidence from my guncams.

Officers Present: Only my trusty Partner, Recruit Officer Harlan.
So we begin in the Illinois System, Out home away from home. Picking up my Very first LPI Ship, A Liberator and what a fine vessel it was. I took her for a test drive and immediately fell for her. A quick patrol around Learning where all the buttons and levers were and I was set to go.
I met up anoter Recruit officer, RO. Harlan we decided it would be best to stick together we were new to the Liberator and our job.And good thing we did! Straight after we went throught the Colorado Jumphole we were met with stiff resisstance.
After that encouter A short Patrol of Colorado was in order. Not much happened here. Really Nothing at all. So the both of us Decided to go to Pennyslvania by way of New york as our patrol route. A few little squabbles in New York but nothing interesting enough to detail. Eager to make our first arrest we headed to the Pennyslvania System.
But, Sadly, Nothing of arresting material came our way. We stuck around the Jumpegate Hoping to catch those fleeting away from the norm. Then we headed down to Planet Erie Very quiet tonight but we couldn't complain.
After a few short patrols around the planet and surrounding stations it was coming to the end of our shift. We slowly left for Illinois Hoping on our way back there would be something we could be put to use for. Sadly not the case. We got back to a calm and pleasent Illinois System. A few flying patterns later the area was cleared for us to dock and get some rest.
