' Wrote:Kusari accuses Junkers of piracy due to -this-. It would be pretty damn logical that your organization are committing piracy if one of your members says that any passing Kusari transport will be destroyed/cargo interdicted.
Your link shows absolutely nothing about how you, your characters gained information about the Scylla claiming to be fighting in the name of the Congress to the enemy. But as I said, at this point its about that comm message which I'm so happy to hear you are defending as it just proves my point of how you people remain so arrogant to believe that your characters can access comm threads which are not addressed to you and then use the information contained within for your own ends, in Role-Play.
It's called lies and propaganda. What we post doesn't have to be fact. Again, like your accusations of piracy. Like the Galileo affair. One side makes up a story of how we're in the wrong, and goes in to destroy our salvagers and recyclers.
The Junkers are paranoid, because factions are out to get us. Kusari sent the KPT after us because of a drunk scotsman's ramblings. At least, that's the excuse you've provided.
Edit: Oh, and Sindy? The leadership is not yet in need of a change, considering we're still happily following plan A.

Our accusation of piracy is based on FACTS and EVIDENCE.
Oh please, you are using the exact context of those threads as well, it's not even about you "guessing and being paranoid" but even if I was to accept that ridiculous excuse of yours you still have no idea the KPT even sent a message to the RM, -exactly- about the refugee situation and Planet Holstein.
But more importantly, it's not even about being paranoid, he's telling him straight-up that he intercepted KPT to RM transmissions as well.

You know. This really does bring up a good point. Mostly in terms of misunderstandings leading to these kinds of miscommunications and bad feelings on all ends.
I think that it would really help the discussion if the Junker Congress could list out which statements from which Junkers can be taken as admissable evidence and which comm channels they have access to. That way we can avoid any further complications.
Right now we have:
Junkers who make statements which can be used as evidence: None.
Comm Channels the Junkers have tapped: All.
Maybe we can flesh that out a bit? Or did I more or less hit the nail on the head? If so maybe a mod can edit the op so that persons looking to make future feedback can be informed of this information before making any accusations of meta/powergaming in the future.
Ok, I just got on here today. It's going to take me some time to read all this and figure out what happened. I spoke to Sina last night on skype and we worked things out and agreed to discuss this in a civil manner. Obviously something else has happened. I'm going to ask the Junkers to back off and stop feeding this fire.

The words "civil manner" left the room the minute your members decided to crank down on personal attacks and the playing style of which I possess in some kind of pseudo-attempt to establish a foundation for arguments about entirely different matters, which was also at which point I would gladly return the favour. Don't even try to pin this on me.
I agreed to accept the message dump deal to the point that I would not argue it anymore if we had settled for your explanations provided on skype. Clearly when you got another one telling another story I will come back and ask why there are inconsistencies between your explanations and other members. As if I had been told nothing but made-up explanations depending on the time I ask them. Now added to the fact that your member and plenty other members of your faction defended the new meta/power-gaming setup displayed by Finnegan, the debate was continued.
Ok, I'm still reading through all this. It's' such a thrilling experience to spend some time in Church on a Sunday morning and come home to find everyone has completely lost their minds. I can see people who are not members of this faction at all who have no business whatsoever posting in this thread to argue with Sina and Zelot. Take it somewhere else, or better yet don't do it at all. We are in serious need of a mod to clean this garbage up.

Most likely I will be forced to draw a picture with crayons of different exciting colours til' you do finally understand that combat is a part of the entire Discovery Role-Play one which you seem fit to participate in by sending Mollies across half the galaxy from their ZoI (with one of the most stupid Role-Play backgrounds ever)
Sina, this is exactly what I was talking about last night. You are upset because people don't make the distinction between the person that you are and the person your character is. Sarcastic comments like this one will not help them make that distinction.
How bout you all respond to me?
Now that I'm here I will. There were some problems with the comms posts. Most of it was done simply to warn my people. Sina and I discussed this issue and resolved it. We will be much more careful in the future.
I was told about the Molly destroyer almost as soon as it happened by the people who actually put it there. Well, I was told after they put it there. Trying to cover my backside I acted like I knew nothing at all about it outside of rumors since putting it there was not my doing and I did in fact want it to do away. It was not the result of accessing anyone's communications. I am smart enough to know what placing a destroyer in Sigma 13 will cause.
I found my crayon scenario to be quite clever personally. Kinda like how the guy I was talking to tells me to get bent. But I'm sure he's "mature" and I'm the "angry kid with a problem".
And don't worry about me being upset about people failing to draw distinctions, I learned quickly it was the same players sending off negative feedback about my Faction for losing fights.
Now as for the situation at hand, you gave me one explanation, I received five different ones here. I however accepted the line of logic you used that "the Message Dump Role-Play would only affect .:J:. characters" like it was some kind of promise that it would stay within those boundaries. Shame though that it had to continue to a communications thread which has the possibility to affect Rheinland, Kusari and Junker Role-Play. But the biggest issue I see here is that plenty of your members are defending the actions as well. Taking the stance that blatant abuse of meta-gaming and power-gaming is justified.

However, gentlemen, I must express that so far 99% of my in-game interactions with the .:j:. were on either a neutral or friendly basis and I found that the occasional chitchat with members of the .:j:. on the go when I encountered them was overall pretty enjoyable.
Although sometimes I wish some of your lot would be more talkative, it's np.
