Sure, but there is always the danger then of having the people revolt against you. The only way to keep the masses in line is to be real friendly with your military, up to the point where the commanders arn't so much your underlings, but rather your equals. And then the commanders start to wonder, "Why can't I just kill him and take over?"
This, obviously, leads to the inevitable outcome of your capital building getting bombed from orbit (Yes, with you inside it) and your commanders carving up your empire in a bloddy civil war.
I still find wanting to kill off the entire human species to be more evil than any silly little tyrant.

Especially if you ARE human. And therefore, to you, it IS murder. Much unlike if your species is cinsidered superior and killing the humans would be like killing a mosquito.
Oh, and little side note here;
There is a little part of me that's starting to get annoyed that a lot of people seem to think that humans are week, pathetic creatures, and always need the help of some special race/mutants/robots/etc. to survive. This is not the case.
Point 1) Harry Potter;
Voldimort would be dead and burried by now if the wizards let the Brittish SAS take care of it. It's hard to survive a sniper bullet bouncing around and off your brain-pan.
Point 2) Independance Day;
We killed them off ourselfs. Nobody else had to come in and save us.

If it bleeds, it can die. The Miraluka can take all the minds they want, but all it takes is a little preassure on the trigger, and you've got a Nova in your lap or a bullet in your head (a.k.a dead). Same goes for the C'Tan. They have all this tech, but up close and in person they are very fragile. That's why they hide behind their enslaved races and have them do all the work.

Ummm yeah. But that is also why Necron Miraluka and C'tan call humans weak. They can control them and use them to protect themselves from humans tryuing to kill them (example Miraluka use AW to protect themselves from Phantoms, Nomads, and Necron/Necross.
Really without humans to use as shields C'tan and Miraluka are helpless. Only Necron are unaffected by the lack of a host body. Though the Nocron's disadvantage is being able to only control one person at a time, while Miraluka can control as many as they have the power to control, and C'tan use surgery (or something...) to "enlighten" people to their side forever contoling them. Also against each other Necron are worse off. Miraluka and C'tan use people to attack each other Necron can only mke one person do his stuff, and Miraluka have the ability to know when something lethal is about to happen to them, and C'tan can control more humans than Miraluka to better protect them.
