"Any house government always establishes that they have the best class system, or they have the best democracy. However the truth is that their greediness blinds them. The Coalition fight for the common good of the people, remember that."
Lee started to pour two cups of tea, he slid one of the cups to the recruit.
"Lets see if you know about Coalition history, if you know what your textbooks didn't tell you."
Lee took a sip from his tea
"How did we arrive here, we, the remnants of the Coalition? And who were and are our 3 great leaders?"

The officer offered Koos a cup of tea, which he gladly accepted. The fragrant flavor of the tea mixed with the blood in his mouth, creating a metallic taste.
"From what I've heard in my travels, the coalition can be traced back to ancient earth in the sol system. The ancient war between the Western Alliance and the Coalition resulted in a Coalition victory. My education has alway tainted the war as a sad moment for humanity, the victory of anti-capitalist communist forces who hate freedom. I utterly reject that analysis. The Alliance was losing to history and like the cowards they are they ran.
The Alliance greatly underestimated the Coalition's intelligence gathering capabilities. They knew all about the sleeper ships that would eventually carry the capitalist plague to a new virgin system. Coalition personnel infiltrated the ships, particularly the Rheinland and Hispania and blended into the populace. Some settled in Omega-52 where they began rebuilding. The harsh, cold environments of the Omega-52 system offered the settlers no room for luxury and required the utmost dedication to work, the equalizer of all men.
The coalition has seen some rough times. The vision of it's leaders has wavered over the years. I know that a revolution happened as a result of Coalition leaders trying to make a treaty with the Alliance, betraying the revolution. The current breed of leaders are much more dedicated. The premier of the Coalition is the glorious Alvin Katz and other officials include Ben Warner, Alexi Karchov and Angie Broch. Other than this, however, I am sorry to say that I know little else."
The embarrassing lack of knowledge of the Coalition made Koos anxious. He never had the opportunity to learn about it in school, and trawling across space for rumors isn't the most efficient way to learn.
So true is it that unnatural generally means only uncustomary, and that everything which is usual appears natural.
"Good answer comrade, at least you know the real truth behind our history, which is something that many people lack. However..."
Lee pulled his pistol out again and pointed it at Koos' direction.
"Our three great leaders started with High Chancellor Aeon, who eventually betrayed us by yearning for peace from the Alliance. The madman who overthrew and executed Aeon was McIntosh, who become our second great leader. This man was one of the primary reason why people believed the Coalition were amok crazy murderers, and to a extent they were right." Lee smirked.
"Our third great leader is our Premier, Alvin Katz, but I am sure you already knew. Most people who enter the Coalition already know all three leaders."
Lee cocked back the gun
"Speaking of truth, do you trust me?"
The recruit looked confused.
"If I told you right now that this gun had no bullets, and I was to aim at your head and pull the trigger, would you trust me?"
The recruit had the smallest look on his face that believed that the gun was not loaded. Lee fired a shot into the table right near the recruit's hand to hinder any thought of disbelief. The recruit flinched back and began to sweat nervously.
"Trust is one of the most important factor of the Coalition. It is a significant trait that must be in every single Coalition Soldier. You must trust your fellow brother or sister, even if you do not agree with their methods, or if you think they are leading you into a suicide. You must trust them no matter what. It is a main root to revolution and teamwork in the field of battle."
Lee raised the gun and put it directly on Koo's forehead yet again.
"This gun could mean the difference between life or death, and your fate all depends on your faith and will... So let me ask you this...." Lee turned off the safety to his pistol
"Do you trust me?"

Koos was obviously shaken. Having a loaded gun pointed at one's head is never a calming experience.
"Trust is something that can only be had between equals. You are a soldier of the revolution. I am merely a wayward soul who has done more to further the capitalist agenda than hinder it. You certainly shouldn't trust me. I'm not worthy of it. Not unless we were both brothers in the revolution. I, however, can trust you a great deal. Your authority in the coalition makes you trustworthy to all those outside. If fact, by the very nature of your positoin in the coalition, you are more trustworthy than absolutely anyone on the outside. Even the most virtuous and sincere of those outside of the coalition, priests, doctors, neighbors don't hold a candle to a coalition member, for their entire conceptions of their worlds is tied to property. Trust simply isn't possible on the outside. I trust you, sir, because you are a soldier of the revolution. You are a representative of the only truly moral force in the sector."
So true is it that unnatural generally means only uncustomary, and that everything which is usual appears natural.
Lee smirked, the applicant closed his eyes and the Coalition officer pulled the trigger.
But the only sound in the dark smokey room that came out of the gun was a click, there was only one bullet in the gun.
Lee put the gun down on the table and finished his tea. He then got up, and walked over to the shelf. He then turned around, and tossed a stack of papers to the applicant.
"Congratulations, you move on to the next phase. I am quite impressed, it seems that you know the surface of what the Coalition is about, however there will be other ideals, values, and truths that you will need to discover as a Coalition Soldier."
"Get these filled out and lets see how you do. I do hope that you do well for your sake, or else next time the chamber won't be empty..."
Lee motioned to the guards, and the Coalition marines began to escort Koos out of the room.

"A decent answer, however remember some times aid may not be able to be provided and you may have to take drastic measures to ensure the freedom of the civilians, some times action against the slaver will attract vultures who will attempt to swarm you, think smart, not hard." he lectured as he started to pop his knuckles one at a time.
"Have you ever killed a man?" he asked almost casually, his eyes not leaving the other man's own.
The light steps of boots made their way across the station, determined and proud as the man in his pilot suit. A zip-up, typical jumpsuit and while not particularly muscular, the man was athletic. He had no weapons in his possession, he had left them in his ship assuming that they would be taken away anyways. His eyes scanned the hallway that he was moving through towards the recruitment center.
He wasn't all that handsome either, a ragged mane of short brown hair with green eyes, an unshaven, rugged chin showed that he was probably careless about what he looked like. The way he walked, however, was as if he had an air of confidence about him - not arrogance, however.
He would stop at the door to the recruitment center, taking a deep breath to retain his cool, his posture and his air of confidence. It slid open and he stepped through, making his way to the lobby and sitting down. He didn't smile, nor did he eye any of the guards. He kept his eyes forward, sat up straight and waited.
After being told there was an opening, Adalrich walked into the office belonging to Rhade. He stands in the doorway, expecting an order to be barked at him.
