There's some program that is messing with your internal windows timers. This is causing your game to run faster than everybody elses. There's nothing we can do apart from turning off the anticheat - which isn't fair to other players.

That's irrelevant since I played Freelancer on the same computer where I played Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Crysis with an overclocked CPU.

Hardware CPU overclocking is not going to cause a problem (at least it shouldn't). Some programs claim to overclock your computer - this is normally the problem.

Is there a way I can find the program doing this?

Open task manager, go to Processes and close non-critic process at a time you'll find out which one is doing the problem eventually (oh and yes, prepare for it to take long time).
Oh, and I know that some svhosts.exe make problems with various anticheats like VAC and occasionaly even "Game Guard".

P.S DO NOT TERMINATE THE PROCESS EXPLORER.EXE ~~!

Happened to me in Gallia while I was lagging, popped me. I had no out of the ordinary programs running and nothing overclocked.

So I put it down to a random glitch.

It's also possible that your computer is setting priority to Freelancer abnormally so. Open Task Manager and right click Freelancer when it's open -> Go to "Set Priority" -> "Normal". If it was set to anything different that could do it.

How are you FPS/physical lag in-game? If you're taxing the computer, the server might register the lag/"catch up" as you using some sort of a mod.
