Discovery 4.86 Storyline: Kusari in 818 A.S.

Ronin

When the new Kusari government withdrew their combat forces from the Taus, a significant force was trapped behind the Gallic lines. As their desperation grew, the Kusari remnants looked for a leader. The former Kusari Emperor, who had been trapped in Bretonia at the beginning of the Gallic war stepped to the front and took command of the KNF forces trapped in Bretonia. Under the Emperor'€™s command, these forces, now referring to themselves as the Ronin, are small in numbers, comprising some 5 battleships, 10 Destroyers and 25 Gunboats and a handful of fighter and bomber wings. While they don't pose a serious threat to Gallic forces in Tau-31, they have a potential to become an important part of Bretonia's defense during the forthcoming war.

so probably "Avengers" maybe fit in this ID because they are already operate in bretonia space...
so question for a Zelot or someone who knowes, i see he is involved in ronin id, would emperor accept them (he would lead a Ronin squad), and if he accept did we can keept our weapons? like SRP in 4.86? ... and did Ronin fight under Emperor flag or Bretonia? because is is peace treaty ok... but who we listen? emperor or queen?:D

why not dude they RP is to fight against brets, primary, secondary to be yakuza and make robbery ...
after all Avengers was fighting side by side KNF against bretonian forces, so in RP meaning very close they are stay behind a enemy lines and like real "protectors" still serve a emperor like Ronin's so dude take this weed also, its good sometime ... ;)

Well, I'm still wondering how after this lenghty war against Bretonia and the conflict in Taus against GRN, Kusari unlawfuls didn't have a chance to launch strikes and take over something. Not about boosting one's ego "because I has moar base ololol", but to make the situation in Kusari more interesting now that the Gallia-Bretonia conflict will be a main spotlight in .86, and thus reducing the already-low activity in the House of Kusari. Perhaps changing the course of events so it leads to the beginning of a civil war, conflict of opinions escalating into violence in planets, I don't know, there's plenty of ideas which could lead to a ton of new roleplay opportunities and not just jumping into New Tokyo, search for lawfuls, have the "you bad, no you" chit-chat and shoot each other.

Problem is - the government takeover by the Democratic Party of Kusari SPECIFICALLY excludes the Dragons and GC.

And that is a problem - because with the arrival of a reformist party into Kusari politics the Dragons are emasculated politcally. How will the Dragons attract radicals from Kusari universities (like the famous Lt. Ozu), when they can simply join a government of reform instead?

What would Lord Hakkera think about all of this?

Of course, if the DPK decides it isnt going to be democratic or reformist, and instead lies to the people about its true nature - that would be a boon politically to the Dragons and GC (though it wouldnt be reflected in game as most Kusari players obey orders without question).

A democratic party that isnt democratic, would have to be more despotic than the one that came before it - in order to maintain the lie.

One might say North Korea is a good example of this. Remember though, that North Korea is a pariah state, and an economic basket case whos population is plagued by poverty and famine...
