I would like to know, what the Planet Harris syndrome is. I guess it's a description for ooRP action in inRP-speech, but I'm not really sure about this.
Is it similiar to the RL syndrome?
If not, I would like to know something about it (etymology, origin and so on) for inRP interactions.
In one of the Taus there is a Planet named Harris with a battleship right outside. One smart powertrader found out that you could run goods from Harris to the Battleship MacDuff in orbit and you are essentially unable to be stopped. The high population in the system eventually led to a break in the role play atmosphere and a notorious amount of "oorp" stuff, I guess. This was the first time there was such a high density of players in one place with very little understanding of role play.
I always thought it was the sheer abount of newbie players hanging arround Harrisburg Station...

Nope. Planet Harris <-> MacDuff. I vaguely remember Hoodlum saying he enjoyed sitting their on his Phantom battleship flaking the battleship to keep it from firing (when flaks were crazy, insta-kill a battleship with 6 of them) while others murdered the transports as they tried to trade.
