Just 15 minutes ago I finished blood donation of my precious 350 ml for free. I volunteered to do this myself. Even then not so bad moneys were offered, I have decided to do this for free, since lives this blood can save can't be measured by any moneys.

I'd donate too, but unfortunately I'm not qualified to do so for another 6 months.
Same here. I think I'll do it more recently. It was my first ever in such stuff. I were really scared, since I'm phobic of various medical needles and stuff. However, it was a good experience.
Used to donate very often. But now I started travelling much, so I can't donate for 3 months after each time I left the country...which pretty much every month <.<
I am a frequent Blood Doner to the Canadian Blood Services, A- blood is 2nd rarest in Canada afterall and they need all they can get. I'm damned proud of what I do and so is my mother who is a Nurse.:)

Rare blood politics here a bit different. If you have rare blood type, they just take your contacts instead the blood. No one knows when someone with such rare type will need help, and unused blood can become unusable after all. So, if someone with blood type like yours appear services just call you.
