The server has been upgraded and after a false start seems to be stable.
- The cause of the many many crashes yesterday might be fixed. At least 3 bugs that would cause crashes have been fixed.
- /pimpship has been changed to fix several problems but there may be others. You are no longer kicked when changing lights.
I'm still running the server with lots of debugging enabled. This may result in slightly worse performance than normal.
EDIT: Also super weird, collisions with docking rings don't work. I have no idea why this is.

yes i know it will be a pain to fly a cap through a field then!
PLEASE NO.
Long Spyglass is long and loves to hug many rocks. :<
Characters Alan Markson: The Hellfire Legion's Lord Commander The Perihelion: Freeport Four's guardian, and yet much more. Missing and assumed Lost with all hands. Eric Dresmund: Junker, smuggler, thief. Last seen drunk on Beaumont Vayrn Wyard: IMG Recon pilot turned Neo-Terran Captain. Last location unknown

but! hey... should such a ship fly in such a field if the risk of ramming anything is to high? no:P
that would be so awesome + bring more RP (less caps in fields but more snubs... small ships can run in fields to have a + and so on)
/edit: and caps can still fly there but possibly it is a better idea not to fly in cruise and play pingpong:D
still... good job to everything except the docking thing cannon:P
/edit2: cannons post count made me lol
JUST NO. This is another useless thing that'll drive me away from smuggling. What about miners in minefields then? Meh, think twice Mario

Yes.... yes it does.... without damage it is bad enough.. trust me. And no, we cannot avoid flying there and we cannot take the time. You ever seen Magellan? that's where we have to fly through, and unless we use gates and lanes, also fields in cali, Texas and finally the badlands in NY.
If asteroids would do collision damage, you'd kill the Spyglass Q_Q and all other unlawful BSes prolly
' Wrote:dun fly there - watch where you're flying to - dun fly in cruise in densely fields
Dun fly there, great especially when the entry to your home system is in a very dense field, and not cruising wouldn't help. There is no way a BS like the Spyglass can avoid hitting an asteroid
Cannon, have you maybe implemented a feature that undocks the ships that have docked, and got kicked for base idling?
It happened to me twice, both times on the same character, Gotharg, when I was positive I docked. First time I found the ship some 25K above the base I docked, second time right outside the docking ring.
