If the factions' wiki page holds all the listed information, may our faction status post simply be a link to our wiki page, or must we also include that information in the post itself?
' Wrote:6) List of permitted ships and weapons in original faction creation request and links to approved special roleplays.
Can you please clarify what we have to do for this?
Are these the lists of ships our faction is allowed to use via SRP/Whitecell
Or is it a list of Whitecell tech that we have given out?
Apart from #6 the Liberty Rogue Faction Status is updated to meet the new requirements. I'll use the unused info from the old faction status to re-write our recruitment thread another time.
Our roster is currently out-dated by a fair bit, but as soon as we've finished renevations with in the faction I will begin to update it regularly once more.

Anyone can edit the Wiki. Are you sure you want that to be the only source of your faction's status?
Hi. If any of you forum mods have time, it'd be great if you could change ownership of the LPI's faction post from Zapp to this shared forum account. We haven't been able to update it since he left, for obvious reasons.
On another note: If you have time, it'd be much appreciated if you could do the same for our message dump and recruitment thread.

we from KNF would also be much appreciated if you could do the same for us.
So, you want us to trim down the amount of information in our faction status post, yet add a full roster? I'm sure that'll go real well for the LN, BAF, CR, ect.
I have far better things to do with my time, since the admins are so enthusiastic about this happening, I would assume that they are more then willing to help right?
On another note though. Why do we even have the posts? Can't that thread be one single post with a listing. Said listing can link to faction's Faction Information thread. The OP of that thread can contain all the information required by the OP of this thread. If factions don't want feedback it can be locked.
This has been suggested before. I am unsure as to why it isn't being implemented, it would be FAR easily to maintain the Faction Status listing as you wouldn't have to update links when a post is hidden or redone. Since you know, you don't have to hide posts if it links to another thread.

I proposed that and even got Igiss to change the forum name, but left the moderating team before it was implemented and nobody picked up the project after that.

Yes. Just do not list them. Administrators have the tools to work out who is playing anyway and under what forum account. (Except in some circumstances, but we will ignore those.)

Trim the detailed histories and the images. The full roster is not a new requirement; it has always been there. It may be a unnecessary requirement, given the tools available to us, but that is another matter. If you had read my post above (I guess you have better things to do with your time than read the entire thread) you would see that I am trying to figure out a way to provide a full roster for faction leaders (maybe with ship type included) that might save them the effort.
As for the amount of information - one faction had two posts - the story was interesting, just not pertinent to the purpose of the thread and clearly beyond what was asked for; other posts had images of the ships allowed - pretty, but not necessary.
So either the status post is your status post or it isn't. Links will do fine, but the minimum amount of information needs to be available in one place, at the very least to serve as a record for diplomacy, tech allowance (the stuff you use, not the stuff given out) and leaders (the last especially as these people have certain powers over non faction members who carry the same ID).
Yawn. I guess I'll make a template for all the important stuff and you can copy that. Unless someone else wants to. Anyone? Bueller?
Leaders leadername
Faction History & Description
Recruitment
Message Dump
Membership Roster
Possibly this might be something easier for all to use?
Malicious rules changes? Don't make me laugh.
