When is it coming out? I mean, its been more than 2 years or so after the realease of BF II and I havn't seen anything. Something tells me development has been canned. Maybee lucas arts are focusing too much on TOR or the Battlefront: Elite Squadron I dont know...
Can someone please tell me: Is Star Wars Battlefront III in production?
BF3 shelved due to the need for all department's attention to the new MMO release, TOR (The Old Republic). Development, testing, and post-launch work, along with current support maintenence on previously released titles preclude the further development of BF3.
That said, apparently not only is TOR gonna mean an effective end to SWG, but it will provide BF3 and other subsequent titles with some much needed 'meat', both in terms of storyline as well as gameplay.
Still, cant wait.
I still play BF2 on the JBA server as 'Navarone'. come get owned!
Have any of you guys seen the footage of the game BEFORE it was canceled? I thought I was going to cry it looked so cool and it broke my heart to know that this would never happen.
