Seriously.
GameInformer Wrote:Shepard is in a column of Krogan Vehicles as an advancing Reaper devastates the surroundings. A Damaged Turian Fighter crashes into a column, destroying SHepard's vehicle as the hulking foe moves forward. On foot and faced with a hopeless battle, all seems lost until a Thresher Maw bursts from the ground and begins grappling the Reaper. Shepard runs underfoot as the two titanic creatures clash overhead, and the Thresher Maw gains the upper hand by constricting itself around the Reaper and pulling the amchine under the sand. The Struggle appears won, until lasers begin bursting through the ground, indicating that Shepard should probably get out of there as fast as possible.
One storyboard they saw at GameInformer.
GameInformer Wrote:As if fighting the Reapers themselves isn't bad enough, you"ll also have to contend with thier thralls. In Mass Effect 1 and 2, players faced Enemies called Husks. These cybernetic abominations are te result of humans being impanted with Reaper technology. Unfortunetly for Shepard, Reapers can do this with any species in the galaxy
Turian, Batarians, worse Rachni. Prepare to go OHSHI- alot.
Cerberus is also hunting you using robots and such, and the Normandy is again under the Alliance's jurisdiction, with another new look, more new rooms, etc.
GameInformer Wrote:The enhancements also extend to the enemy AI. In previous games, your foes' behavior didn't vary wildly. They would take cover and pop out occasionally to fire off a few shots. In mass Effect 3, enemies can perform coordinated assualts.
Prepare to feel like its a game of chess (the article states they essentially move like a well-seasoned chess player).
GameInformer Wrote:You can obtain different, barrels, scopes, and materials to outfit your arsenal as you see fit. Not only will these weapon mods have tangible benefits, but theyll also change the physical appearance of the weapon
More diverse, yes!
Mineral scanning is being changed, the Mako and Hammerhead stuff is being tweaked, but is still side missions.
Casey Hudson, Executive Producer Wrote:There are some decisons you could have made in Mass Effect 1-and the comic in the PS3 version-that, in Mass Effect 3, make a really big difference. Different things happen, and you have to access different things, and they will affect the endings that you have access to. That's part of what we wanted to do from the start; from the first game, making choices that can affect everything all the way up to the final resolution

You're kidding right Russel. Mass Effect has been out for ages and it is THE most epic Spacey, alternate universe, future based RPG in the entire history of gaming.
