I've been looking for a fix like this for ages >_>
The only thing it does is put the HUD into the corners even with widescreen resolution, ye? If so then there shouldnt be any problems. And thanks for linking that.
If this is going to be implemented in .86, one thing I request is adding it as an option during mod activation, not a default feature... Because some of us do like the way hud looks on widescreen (i.e. Not blocking the corners of the screen, so you can actually shoot at someone if they manage to stay on your side all the time).
I've updated the first page with a few other mods.
Please remember that if your mod includes material from other mods and you do not have permission to use this with discovery we will not approve it or allow links to it on the forum.
The reason for this restriction is that many mod communities get annoyed when people use their work without permission.
The discovery development and administrator team try hard to maintain good relations with as many Freelancer communities as possible. Being seen to support people stealing their work would not be helpful.

First: "Realistic Lighting Mod"
Use it to adjust lighting; there is only one setting. 100% is the normal Freelancer lighting. Lowering that value diminishes the amount of non-direct light ie. parts of your ship out of the star's direct light will be in shadow. It also lowers lighting in nebulae a bit.
Works in FLMM.
Second: Michael's mod.
A personal tweak of his, it adjusts the Sirius navmap to be either without the House names or a completely new map, colour-coded by area.
It also changes the HUD colour to orange.
Not with FLMM.
Third: Hudshift mod.
For widescreen players, it moves the two lower HUD boxes to the edges of the screen, as opposed to staying in the middle. The screenshot provides an example.
Not with FLMM.
^ that's a brief summary.
Seems I'm having trouble getting the last one working. Someone tell me where it needs to go.
Err ... I think I should make a new .zip file then ... the preview file wasn't meant for public release, so to speak.
I'll bring the public file online as soon as possible! Sorry for the misunderstanding :D
