My organization is primarily an economic one, not specifically dedicated to home defense and war. However, we currently maintain 2 destroyer and one of them shall soon be discarded to make room for Project Onassis. Then, along with the Fantasia, we should be able to repel the snub ship assaults. The capital assaults will require the development of a new type of bomber, one manufactured on Malta or Ibiza or Ruiz.
The invasion of Rheinland by the Corsairs affords us a valuable time to strike, in my opinion. I propose that a joint assault be lead upon Omicron Gamma, while we still have the time to strike!

We don't have a truly organized military; what we have is a group of several small warlords without a plan. Obviously, merging all our organizations is out of the question, but we need to come up with a much, much better system for preparing defenses and organizing raids. To that end, I motion that we form something of a Confederacy."
He stood. Time to make a heavier impression.
"We can continue as independent entities, and we can make formal declarations of war as a whole, but for specific situations we have a centralized unit with respectable power to scramble and organize a much greater number of ships at a moment's notice. I believe this will make combating the incursions of the Colonials so much more effective, and, more importantly, we will be able to take the war on the Traitors to their home ground and consistently strike in force at Crete and Tripoli."
He swelled with joy. If this went through, oh the things it would do for Malta...
"We are currently stalemated; we have better pilots and ships, and they have waves upon waves of gun fodder to throw upon us. The only similarity is this: we are both disorganized. If we can attack as a whole, we can at last pound our foes into their graves where they belong!"

lets off a loud venting sigh
"to keep our casualties to a minimum should be our number one priority. being able to scramble Outcast forces from each corner of the border systems to assist in any given raid on our glorious home would make the protection of our people alot easier. it would also increase our victory's by the millions as willow said. we have more skillful pilots but the sheer number of cannon fodder that our enemies the corsairs overwhelm our forces 2/1"

Lope waits for Lohingren and then begins to speak;
"Wipe out our enemies? Well, you have fun with that then, but I wouldn't suggest it. The 101st are here to defend Alpha and Omicron 85, notice why we never join you on your 'raids'. Instead, we defend. If you wish to destroy our enemies, then create an defenses to keep them out of our home first!"
Lope waits for any replies from the Dons and continues;
"How do you expect to send our raids if our Shipyard is lost? How do you plan to send out 'raids' without a base of operations to set off with? How do you want to send our 'raids' if you have no one to send!?"
Create a defense, keep the enemies OUT of our home before even thinking of attacking them. Because without a defense, we have no chance at any offensive plans."
Willow looked Lope's holo dead in the face and replied. "No need to get hostile, Lope, that's one of the tenets. The 101st are the oldest and by far the best of Malta's warriors, hence they should stay and defend her. I propose that within Alpha, the authority of the 101st supersede other entities, because they are already almost completely dedicated to defense and that only. It has always been good military sense to keep a force at home to defend from treachery, and that is the role I see the Ghosts as already fulfilling, and the one they should continue to fill. Let the rest of us organize assaults; the Ghosts should do what they do better than all of us."
