Today we've got plenty of actions. Nightblade was fighting 3 RM pilots, very skilled ones. After hours of combat he managed to win all of them. I've tried to help but my ship was no match for them and I was soon destroyed. Lucky some junkers were passing by the combat zone and took me to the nearest base in my escape pod. Later on, when I was already in a new ship, me and Nathan, a non-RHA Red Hessian were fighting some Corsairs when we found 2 hostile vessels entering in the area. We asked them to leave but they disobeyed and engaged us. Their end could not be any different from that one:
Then Nightblade presented me with an Armor Upgrade Mk VIII, rising my debt with him to 30M, which will soon be paid. We finished the day by intercepting some traders and getting resources to our cause. We've made a full blockade in New Berlin and destroyed dozens of ships, including battleships, capturing or killing many officials [NPCs]. Our officers at Vogtland will be able to gather lots of information from them.
I've also added 8 Red Hessian Class 9 Weapons to Ghost's Armory.
The alliance between RHA and the Ghosts is being essential for a whole new front of battle against Corsairs and RM!
Take care fellow pilots!
Elmkin off.

My mapping efforts have already borne fruit . . . not as useful now as it would've been earlier, but it may yet provide us with a unique opportunity. I am sending the relevant information to the Captain via a private communication, which will soon be made available to all other RHA members.

Things did not go well today. They began well enough; I launched in time to find our first cruiser about to depart on a shakedown cruise, and I chose to come along as fighter escort. We made our way through the Omegas, and decided to raid the Corsair's Tripoli shipyards. An audacious move, and one that I thought we could pull off. We approached from open space.
And were greeted by an Osiris-class battleship, a Corsair gunboat, and no fewer than three Titans. All but one of those were piloted by TBH, as I recall. The Major, at the helm of the cruiser, engaged the Osiris whilst I fought the Titans and gunboat. We knew we could not win against such odds, and soon found ourselves retreating. I barely managed to get away, but turned too sharply towards the jumphole, allowing the gunboat to get a cutoff angle on me. One blast from that awful forward cannon, and I found myself floating through space, having failed to down even a single Titan.
Major Michel picked me up and fled, leading the Osiris on a wild chase through two systems. At last, it gave up, and we were left to continue back to base. I decided, in light of the past few engagements, to replace my Marauder with a Sabre. More heavily armed and armored, it seemed a prudent choice. While I was equipping my old loadout on the new fighter, Michel (now in his own Sabre) was engaged by an RM Wrath. I launched to join the fight, but after only a few minutes a close-range pass punched through my shields and took me out of the fight. Again.
A friendly fighter tractored my pod in and returned me to base, where I could do nothing but watch...our good friend Nightblade came onto the scopes, and I quickly directed him to the place I'd last seen the Major dueling the Wrath. Together, they defeated the enemy . . . but my confidence in my own fighting abilities is very badly shaken.
I'm going to Omega-7 tomorrow to visit my wife and children. I will think on this, and decide what to do. I will not abandon you, my comrades, my brothers; but I must think of my family, and of how I can _best_ aid you. Perhaps I could do more good as a commerce raider in a freighter than as a fighter pilot . . . I do not know. This is still new to me, and I must think about it. I would welcome any advice, too.

Today me, a Ghost faction member (forgot the name ^^), [RO]Weedman, (DE)-Emperor and [RoS]UK1[X] managed to make a raid on New Berlin and get the RM in a surprise. We were in 2 fighters, 1 gunboat and 2 capital ships. The fight was long near the planet New Berlin and I was the last one to be destroyed, but not before causing a little "damage" for our "mates":
RM is so weak that for beating me, the last man alive, after already about 1h of fight, they needed a fighter AND a capital ship. They were named [RM]Meric.Freelamen. (fighter) and [\JG/]Sandman (capital ship).
After being captured by RM, I was exchanged by another prisoner and now I'm currently under medication at the Bundschuh base on Frankfurt. Hopefully I'll get better soon.
Best regards to my RHA brothers,
Elmkin

I was on my way to Omega-7 when I received a message from Elmkin, requesting some help navigating to a Omega-15. I readily agreed; the jump hole was already on my system map, and I would still have time to reach Omega-7 later. It turned out to take awhile to get out of Omega-11 due to the sheer number of bounty hunters with disruptors, but they proved to be no real problem. The Sabre is a fine ship, though it has a large profile.
When we reached Omega-15, I found out he was looking for a specific station at which a certain fighter was sold. Using the enemy's exhaust paths to map out locations of interest, we ended up flying all the way to the other side of the system before finding it, engaging numerous fighters along the way (and being chased by someone of the "DW" faction, whom I've never heard of). It wasn't easy to get there, but it was worth it.
I'd thought the Raven's Claw was simply an upgraded version of the Raven's Talon. I could not possibly have been more wrong. It is, most likely, the most predatory-looking ship I have ever seen. While searching for a fighter to fly, I noticed that certain ones called out to me, even if their statistics were not remarkable. And some did not call to me, even if they were excellent ships.
The Marauder called to me. The Sabre did not. The Raven's Claw called very loudly indeed, however. Since almost all of my equipment was already purchased - and I'd brought in no small number of bounty hunter pilots to ransom at Vogtland - I had plenty of money to buy it. So, now Elmkin and I both have the same ship, though they will naturally be armed differently. I don't think I'll regret this decision.
Also, Elmkin and I talked a good bit during the trip, and I have made my decision. Though I may be defeated again and again at the hands of the RM, Corsairs, and our other enemies I cannot give up the fight. I'm not the best fighter pilot, but I still believe I can make a difference doing what I am doing.
I'm still going to Omega-7 soon, though. I miss my wife, and the kids grow up too fast...it's only been a month or two since I've seen them, yet it seems like far longer and a part of me fears they won't recognize me.

Something must be done. While flying through Dresden today, I came across two RM vessels...a quick scanner check revealed that none were in any other Rheinland system. Time after time, they patrol the Dresden system, hunting us. Why are they so obsessed with catching us as we launch? Do they truly have no other enemies upon which to concentrate their attention? They know Vogtland is there, and so they hover around waiting for us to launch so they can chase us.
And to think, I used to believe that the RM still possessed some measure of honor. I'm quickly becoming disillusioned of that fallacy. It would seem they are becoming every bit as inhuman and brutal as Daumann...we rarely enter New Berlin except to pass through to somewhere else, because it is the hub of all Rheinland. WE do not patrol New Berlin with excessive force, daring them to do what we know they will do (except that one time our forces blockaded the planet's trade for a time. But, that is hardly something we regularly do). And with a force as experienced and well-equipped as theirs, two vs. one IS an overwhelming force.
I know that we are a guerrilla force, but this is becoming ridiculous. I left the solar plane and avoided them easily, but still, they were there. Too close to home. We must put forth a more concentrated effort to guard our space against their intrusions!

Greetings my brothers, I am under the understanding this is the channel me and my Ghost brothers are going to be using to communicate with each other. Alot has been happening my brothers, and I feel as well that we need to be on guard of our base more often.
I was asleep in my bed when i was awoken by another officer on Vogtland base informing me that two allies were engaging the Rheinland Military in Dresden and that one had been shot down and was picked up on one of our route patrol routes.
My best wishes to his speedy recovery. I quickly got dressed and rushed out my door to the launch bay. I hastely got on board of my Raven's Talon and launched to aid my RHA brother now fighting in New Berlin. I had a little difficultly reaching him. But once i found our brother it wasnt soon after that the RM fell to our combined might.
It seems to me that if we are not engaging the RM, they are fighting us. Something needs to be done, i believe we not a stronger presence in our areas of influence, so as to discourage these raids.
Also, any Ghost that is thinking of changing ships, must do so only after clearing that request with me. We only have a limited supply of resources and they must be used wisely.

I must hurry with this message, for they may be watching me. "They"... they have impounded my fighter. I don't know who they are, or who they're working for - I think they may be from Liberty, but I can't tell. They say that it's outside of reason for me to have this fighter, that I must therefore have stolen it.
What should I do? They are well-armed, and I think it might be easiest to accept their price (they are offering a small sum of money for the fighter) and find something else to fly. Admittedly, the Claw doesn't look like a Hessian ship...but I do not know. I could try to flee them, to leap into the cockpit and ignite cruise engines before they can launch their own ships. Captain, I will obey your orders in this: what shall I do?
(OOC: it's the only easy way I can really think of for Conrad to suddenly give up his Raven's Claw.)

Seems your in a most unfortuate situation. if i knew more on your location i could try and aid you, but thats not a possibility it seems. As for you question. I will start out by saying I am not one of your direct commanding officers, but personally i would still fly the ship if it suits you. However, I would clear that up with your Fleet captain just in case.
I personally am not going to restrict my men from flying that vessel at this point. Only one of my members currently uses it any way, so i dont see it as a big problem. I must take my leave now, Fly well, and aim true brother.
