Subject: Summary of the day
Today I've been setting up my main ship, known under the callsign [RHA]Reinhold.Krupp . At the process of being set up, me and Elmkin encountered 3 RM pilots. We were not succesful, though. The ship is now fully set up and ready to fight whenever needed. I'm currently at Ronneburg in Omega-5, though I will return to Vogtland soon.

Subject: Action Reports
After intercepting some traders and gathering resources for our cause with Kapitan Morrigan, me, Nightblade and Nathan decided to make a little "surprise" for our friends Corsairs at Omicron Gamma. 3 Vessels intercepted us:
[\JG/]Snowman - A VHF
Corsairs-Zavier_Benitez - A Gunboat
Gentle - A VHF
We've successfully managed to beat them all without any death at our side. Although, unfortunately, my ship had become severely damaged and I needed to head back to Dresden for repairs and leave the fight after the 3rd death. It was quite fortunate I didn't find any hostile vessel on my way back.
I will keep reporting the Fleet Command with another actions we make.
Today was a great day it seems, although we nearly lost one of our own. Me and Captain Velvet were testing out new ships and had just completed lauch checks when we picked up someone talking over the normal Comms.
They were talking about Ghosts so naturally we went to investigate, when we arrived, the person talking was flying a cargo ships of sorts and began fireing upon us. We had no intentions of attacking this vessel yet but were forced to defend ourselves in light of the situation.
We followed him and I was engaged by a police vessel and my test ship was destroyed. Luckly some local Hessians came to the rescue and picked me up. I boarded my main fighter and headed to New Berlin, to check how Captain Velvet was doing.
He had just killed the scum as i came within viewing range and we then traveled to the local Junkers base for repairs and a few beers. Upon our arrival a RepX security spotted us and engaged us. We fought for quite some time as he was in a bomber and one false move could spell death.
Captain Velvet had mechanical errors with his ship and it nearly cost him his life, he ejected just in time and i tractored him into my fighter before harm was done to him. I continued to fight the bomber untill at least i defeated him with no real damage done to my ship. I took the Captain back to Vogtland so he could refit himself and so we could finally have ourselves some beers.
We were lucky today, we must be carefull what we do, one false move could be our last.

It's...unnerving to be flying in the midst of the RM and not attacking them, pretending to be one of the faceless traders that ply the lanes each day. But it is necessary; I need to do reconnaissance, to find out where other traders operate and what sort of escort they typically bring. I also need to get enough money to upgrade my weapons to proper Hessian hardware when the time comes.
But until then, I am effectively undercover, which is why I am sending you all the name of my vessel in a private communication. I'm finding the profitable trade routes so that I will know where to lie in ambush, and observing the habits of the corporate transports. Just yesterday I saw RepEx's corporate headquarters flying through the New Berlin system in a luxury liner, escorted by a single ship.
Not that I'm foolish enough to take on either one of them in just my freighter, but the information could be useful for a more full-scale raid later. Take care, brothers; and we mustn't forget that the RM, though we fight them, are not our true enemies. That title is reserved for companies like Daumann, and the Corsairs.

We faced the Corsairs today, in the form of a force composed of the LDDLG and TBH gunboats and Nephthys VHFs. I may have my numbers wrong, but here is what I recall:
4x Corsair Gunboat (armed with Cerberus turrets)
3x Nephthys Order VHF (armed with Nomad blasters)
Vs.
3x RM Wrath VHFs
1x RLB Ravens Talon VHF
3x RHA Sabre or Talon VHF
1x RHA Marauder HF (not only that, my ship was short two weapons when I launched. I had two Skyblast Bs, and two Advanced Debilitators. That was alland my ship cannot mount a torp)
The thing of it was that the Corsairs were all there at once, while our own forces (with the exception of the RM) arrived in bits and pieces. I was the last one to join the fight, but was also the most lightly armed and armored. As our newest Rekrut had just been taken down by LDDLG Garfield, I chose him as my first target. I downed his shields several times, but before I could take down his hull, he fled the battle.
For my next target, I chose the affiliated fighter called loren. This one was more skilled than Garfield, but was still unable to land more than a couple of salvoes on me, in spite of the Marauders poor agility. She lasted for a good while, but this time with the help of a pair of RM fighters her shields were down and she was at half-hull when she fled the battle as well.
With no fighters left to attack, I was left with the unhappy options of attacking the gunboats or fleeing. I fought. One of the RM pilots chose one of the gunboats as his target, and I joined him in the attack. Our combined fire quickly downed his shields, but had greater trouble piercing the thick armor. Fortunately, he wasnt as good a gunner as he was pilot, and he never landed more than one salvo on me. Also fortunately, when my shields go down, the Marauder becomes a much more difficult target.
This went on for quite some time, with other pilots falling as I wove between the enemy gunboats, strafing and thrusting to keep the enemys heavy guns from coming to bear. I brought down the gunboats shields more than twice, but lacked the firepower to do serious harmeventually, the only Rheinlanders left were Lukas and myself. I was out of batteries, low on bots, and knew that the battle was lost. Had I thought there to be any chance whatsoever of taking down a gunboat, Id have stayed, but I simply didnt have the firepower.
So, I fled. They had destroyed my CM dropper, so it was fortunate that they didnt launch any disruptors my way. Lukas fled soon after that, and the battle was over.
Mostly.
I quickly left the solar plane, then changed course for the Dresden jump hole only to find it blockaded by at least three gunboats. I never couldve known my mapping runs would pay off so soonI made for the Stuttgart jump gate, and entered the Stuttgart system without further incident. At last, I landed at the LWB base there to begin repairs to my fighter.
I later received word that a Corsair gunboat was waiting outside Vogtland. Obviously they expected me to flee therefools. We at the RHA have not survived this long by operating solely out of a single base. But their underestimation of our resources worked to my benefit, and the survival of myself and the allied pilots I had picked up from the battle.
I am proud of our brothers; they fought bravely.
-Leutnant Egon
PS: I think we might make a proposal to the RM: whenever Corsair forces are present, we temporarily set aside our differences and repel them. It may be the only way to defend the Fatherland.
OOC: that was awesome. Well done, everyone! Yes, that includes your Corsair bastards. =P First big battle I've been a part of)
I was also present during this engagement, as we started off facing RM. It was 4v2 and we had lost many fighters, as they arrived seperately and not as a whole. Me and LWB Wolf were fending off the RM when it seemed almost suddenly Corsairs had jumped right on top of us all
More allied fighters arrived and i even tried bribing a merc to help. but he was taken down very quickly
I then convinced the RM to cease fire on all our allies so we could concentrate on the greater force being the Corsairs. It was during this comm that my ship was destroyed, as i was not paying to much to evading. I managed to get most of the combat with the corsairs up untill my ships destruction on record.
I agree with my brother, we need to start focusing our efforts on the corsars now

It was good to fight along side you today, unfortunatly we where always outnumbered no matter who we where fighting. Against the RM we defeated some of their people and then drove off their bomber but when the Cosairs jumper it was good to see fellow Reinalnders putting aside their differences to fight the scourge. Unfortunatly my sabre was caught by a full blast from their gunboats and disintergrated. It is a shame that my squadron cannot feild many people to help you.
