Bonnie stood up again, [color=#FF99FF]"Right, an hour.... I got some work to do.... Zack, I'll need your help in the hanger." She paused for a second and looked over at Clyde who looked like he had something to say.
Clyde sat beside Bonnie, listening to Alex lay out the plan. Bonnie was right, but the thing that worried him was would the police really send that many ships after Bonnies. "I think we should make a bigger scene, something to get them really worried.Clyde pointed up at the map,"Wouldn't it be feasible to create a distraction slightly away from base?"Clyde got up and walked to the holo-map and suggested"What if we were to pirate the lane to Norfolk, and you guys escape towards Pittsburgh?"
[font=Times New Roman]Bonnie nodded.[color=#FF99FF] "Only problem is, they won't send out enough people, only one or two, the base wont be empty enough for them to get out without any trouble.... If we attack the base, they will -have- to leave and protect it." She laughed and looked over at Alex.
"Ten minutes is what Ill give you. I'll start the attack then, on the dot. Gives you time to get there, and time to leave. By the time you get out and away from there, I doubt they will even know whats going on, They will be in panic mode. If it gets too much, I'll flee, you will have time to get out, but I won't be able to keep them off you, if thats the case.
Keep in mind, they are the Police after all. The only thing they are good at is... well, nothing. Their all useless."She grinned, knowing she was right.
Zack listened to them all before speaking, predictably "Listen, I don't want any ships lost. It's bad enough that Bonnie nearly bit it last time. I just don't want any unecessary risks." He looked at Alex "Listen, these two have been through alot, I can switch out with one of them, since, ya' know, Bonnie nearly got spaced last fight."
He looked around at the crew. "Otherwise I am ready to go whenever you guys are."
Bonnie shook her head.[color=#FF99FF] "No, you will be better off on the station, after the last time it wouldn't surprise me if them Kusari folk told the police to keep an eye out for me." She paused, before adding "I'll be fine.... Besides, it needs to be done, right?"There was a long silence before she shook her head, and looked over at Alex "I'd rather put myself in that situation then anyone else."
"I know you would, just don't do anything -really- stupid. I'd like all my pilots back in one piece."
[color=#000000]Bonnie grinned. "This is me we are talking about... I'll be fine." She nodded before frowning slightly. "Yeah, before I do anything, I'll need armour on my ship, preferably the best we can get and put on it in the next hour.... I'll need countermeasures as well, the best I can get for it. If I'm gunna be fleeing, I need to know I have a chance at getting away." She stopped, still looking lost in thought, and looked over to the guys on the other side of the room. "Zack, Clyde, you guys able to help me get this ready?"
Zack nodded as the plan was decided. "Bonnie, armor takes a long time to install, it's not like you can just put an armor upgrade in your cargo hold, and viola, you are tougher. No, the individual pieces need to be bolted in place, and your outer armor needs to under go a fire retardant coating. Thankfully, I put some of my men on this, and your armor should be near ready. All that is left to do is mounting your countermeasures and stocking ammo. Not to mention control tweaking, and some test runs." He took a datapad out of a pocket, and read something, whilst heading the the exit. "Well, you coming Clyde?"
One hour later Zack and Alex had just landed their recently 'acquired' CSV on Fort Bush. Dressed in full suits the pair were fairly unrecognizable as the dangerous pirates shown in the wanted posters. Nevertheless sticking around a police base was far from ideal and they both preferred to be out of here quickly.
"Remember the plan," Alex said to Zack. "Devin comes and I'll get her with the sedative, she'll go down... thirty seconds tops, then you get her and say something about her being drunk. No one will give us a second look."
Alex pulled out his communicator.
"Bonnie, we're ready here. Give us a distraction."
[color=#000000]The door leading to the bridge is kicked open. A man in a wheelchair accompanied by a man in black rolls in, stops at the main window, and turns around.
"Whoever is in charge at the moment, tell me where the hell my Elites are."
