Death Runner turned his terminal off and sat back in his chair for a moment, thinking of his next move. He tilted his head towards the intercom. "Send in my best soldiers." "Right away sir!" Within a minute, the office of Death Runner was filled with five of his finest soldiers, evil, vile, and willing to die for their master. The man faced the leader of the group, Torro Trait. He motioned for him to approach his desk then handed him the files. "Your target is Adaulfo Blucher, the owner of some industrial compound on planet New Berlin. Infiltrate the compound, kidnap the target, and blow the base to hell in the process. Not all of you may survive.. " The group stood straight and ready to begin their assignment. "Go, and kill anyone that gets in your way." The soldiers saluted then ran out of the room and began. The captain smiled a bit to himself and lit a cigar.
"Freelancer Alpha 1-5 squadron requesting to dock on New Berlin."
"Roger that Freelancer Alpha 1-5 permission to dock."
The group landed on New Berlin with ease, disguised as Freelancers. They landed close enough to the compound so that they could get a visual but far enough as to remain undetected. Torro Trait turned towards the group and nodded. They began their run to the compound. The terrain was at first green, but as they got closer and closer to the factory the scenery quickly changed to a junkyard full of trash, scrap, damaged vehicle components, weapons, crates, and other random items that were out-dated. When they came in site of the first camera, Trait nodded once more and the group activated their camouflage armor. They all knew how long it would last, so they didn't have much time to enter. Luckily for them, the compound wasn't in the greatest of shape and looked like it's been through it's hay day more than once already. When the group was able to pass all the cameras on the outskirts, they approached a large metal door that could only be activated with a pass-code. Torro Trait looked around, eying the door and searching for any other way in nearby. One of the soldiers pulled out a Katana blade forged by the blood dragons. He motioned for everyone to step back, then, with a quick and precise strike at the inner lock of the door, the blade tore through it like butter. The group realized what to do next, and pushed the large door forward and opened it with no trouble.
The employees inside were all completely frozen. Everyone just stopped immediately and stared at the intruders. The soldiers took advantage of this moment, and in one simultaneous hail of bullets, there were no more still employees. The group ran through the halls, knowing where they needed to go. The building was built well, yes. But they must not have ever thought that they were in any danger of any sort. There were but a few guards, and the administrator's hall was strangely close to the entrance. The group of elites quickly ran up and down halls, to and fro, planting charges of C4 in key sections of the factory. Though the leader stayed on the first floor, to face Adaulfo Blucher.
Torro Trait burst open the door in one fell kick, but was surprised to find Adaulfo with a 12 gauge double-barrel shotgun standing behind the door, aiming the weapon straight at Trait's chest.
"Surprise!"
Torro Trait was hit, and flew backwards out of the office and hit the wall behind him. He tried to get up, but his core was too badly damaged. Adaulfo reloaded, hen approached him again.
"Thought it was gonna be that easy huh?!"
Adaulfo aimed the weapon at his head this time, and grinned.
"Goodb-!"
He felt a sharp pain in his chest. The man looked down, and found his blood running down his leg, coating the floor in red. Torro Trait arose, took the gun out of his hands, then used the blunt end to knock him out. A fellow soldier stood behind Adaulfo, pulling the blade out of his body.
"I didn't hit a vital spot. He will live, if we hurry."
The group left the compound with the unconscious target. They quickly got in their small transport and tended to Adaulfo's wounds. Though they weren't finished yet.. Once out of range, the factory went up in flames. There was no trace they were ever even there.
The group soon reached Kirkwall base, and brought the body to the infirmary.
