Character Help

I am working on some background and a story for my character and would appreciate any input folks can give me. Besides flames of course.

Ive got corsair iff and id. And I am in an Osiris.

Yes. I know there is no pirating or taxation in anything bigger than a gunboat. I am not planning on taxing, pirating, or silly pvp. I just like the Osiris.

If anyone has input on how an Osiris should behave please post it. More useful is how folks feel a Corsair Osiris should behave.

Also concerning New York system. I see every faction under the sun in New York and wish to know if my ship is allowed in system and if it is allowed to dock on Manhattan. This would be for the purpose of doing credit transfers from time to time. I see a lot of ooc like conversation in NY and was wondering if things were more lax there.

The Osiris classs battlecrusier Isis was commissioned today. Its crew of 20 are under the command of Captain RickJames. The mission profile is to defend the interests of all Corsairs and their allies as well as defending Corsair systems, planets, bases, depots and shipyards while engaging in intelligence gathering throughout Sirus Sector. It will not engage or support piracy or taxation. However, The Isis has standing orders to assist any Corsair under fire or being pursued by fighters, gunboats, capital ships, and or any combination of said ships.

I do not nor have I taxed or pirated anyone in the 3 weeks I have been playing. I like the Osiris and like flying one. I do not intend to engage in much PvP unless folks want to or it makes really good rp sense and will be fun for all involved. In my 3 weeks playing I have only engaged in PvP twice. Neither time was anyone destroyed. I wanted to post this so people know my intentions and stop worrying that I am flying around trying to get into fights. However, if people want to do some RP and would like a chance to fight with me just let me know. Otherwise I will probably just fly away.

But you are certainly allowed in-system, provided you can get there. New York is a free-for-all system where players cannot damage each other, and where OOC system chat is permitted.
