:nono:
you want it be abused as a trading vessel?
or you want it to be as expencive as junker frigate?
anyhow it is not what we decide. the model is great and I`d like to see any dev input.
If all the ships in that last pic are to scale, you might want to shrink the size of your ship just a little bit. As far as Gunboats are concerned, that ship looks like a very easy target; most of the gunboats shown for comparison are either long or wide, but not both.
It has 11 turrets, but this is not important whatsoever. It has pretty much standard gunboat firing arcs, or a bit better(+1/2 turrets can fire in some direction) but it's twice the size of said gunboats, and it has poor maneuverability. I will not reduce the turret count as the model has 11 turret spots. I made my firing arcs, but devs can adjust them to what they think is fair, but I think that the way I balanced it makes it more than fair as this ship will be a very easy target due to size and low maneuverability.
The size is also to stay as it is, because I made it so that fighters and small freighters would realistically fit into the ship's hangar bay(some of them under odd angles though).
Honestly it would be more useful as a transport-class vessel, with the current loadout and purpose. Make it a deep-space supply ship, with 3500 cargo and 11 turrets it would be good.

I am saying replace the gunboat turrets with transport turrets. 11 gunboat turrets is too many and he wont reduce them, so this is the best remaining solution IMO.
The house battletransports are >4000 cargo, so a cargo capacity of 3500 would be penalty. Actually it should probably have a bit less, since that would make the BWT less desirable, probably about 3000-3200 neighborhood would be good. The docking bay provides an extra bonus to make it interesting beyond just cargo, so that is good for keeping it attractive.
