My name is Takeshi Ogawa and I would like to talk to you about some disturbing news I received. That is your attack on the IMG convoy in the Honsu system. From the report it seems you wanted to take revenge because an IMG ship attacked you in Leeds.
As far as I know, the Independent Miners Guild considers all the groups under the GC flag as a neutral party and we don't have anything against you. Therefore, I would like to request the evidence of the wrongdoings of the said IMG vessel. Arigato.
If you considered us neutral, then I wonder why we find your ships supplying Kusari stations?
If you considered us neutral, then I wonder why we find your ships trying to stop our vital shipments of Cardamine from the northern Omicrons.
If you considered us neutral, then I wonder why This happened. Attacking one of my pilots while her computers were receiving interference from ion activity. Then, when we bring justice to him for his deeds, two more gunboats and a fighter attempted to interfere. One of them, your very own Miles Green, made an emergency landing on Planet Leeds in order to escape his just punishment.
If you considered us neutral, then I wonder why your transports attempted to enter Kusari from the Sigmas, even when we denied their entrance in no uncertain terms.
If you considered us neutral, then I wonder why your transports' escorts, before the transports arrived, taunted us, made snide remarks, and blatantly violated our ban on your entrance. Then proceeded to attempt to hamper our ability to reach Aomori station before your transports entered, an attempt which failed.
No. You have not shown us the respect you claim you hold, you've shown us the behavior one exhibits towards their enemies.
If you want us to cease preying on your ships and transports, if you want to enter Kusari without us or our allies taking vengeance upon you, you must start showing the respect we deserve and demand. You will also have to provide the resources to repair the equipment that has been damaged by your rude and unprovoked actions. You will have to ensure our vessels are not interfered with again by your personnel, or any others who inhabit Tau-23.
Konnichiwa. An internal investigation is being conducted in order to find out more about the incident. In the meantime, I would be pleased if the mercenaries you hired cease their assasination attempts on the IMG employees.
Unfortunately my reply was delayed because the internal investigation took longer than usual, due to lack of data from our databanks.
I would like to personally apologize for the wrongdoings of our pilots and I want to assure you that both of them are harshly punished. Furthermore, IMG wishes to pay for the reparation of your damaged ships.
Despite that, I also want to state my displeasement about the fact that you didn't bring this issue directly to the IMG Leadership but you chose to attack an IMG convoy and additionally hire a mercenary to kill more IMG employees.
So, does your group really seeks to have a healthy and profitable relationship with the IMG or the wrongdoings of these pilots were just the excuse to break our neutrality?
Can you not think of any more direct and attention-grabbing method for us to bring your executives to the table? Your organization has been remarkably apathetic to the actions and behavior of your subordinates and company, including the conflicts you start, cause, and influence.
Your organization furthers our disagreements by interdicting and disrupting the flow of goods in the Taus. Goods that are vital for our economic well being and expansion. Many of these goods are destined for our own bases, or ferried further to Liberty by our own ships after delivery.
And you have the gall to claim we are the ones breaking neutrality? There was none ever to begin with, as a direct result of your company's activities.
Whether our relationship becomes healthy or profitable depends on the decisions your leadership makes in the coming weeks.
We can be helpful to each other, or you can continue stonewalling us and we will let our agents and pilots continue their predations.
I have two simple and reasonable terms for us to agree upon.
First; You do not interdict or disrupt any Cardamine shippers heading into Kusari. Cardamine shippers heading into the lower Taus, Bretonia, or Baffin to Liberty, are not within our protection, and we would be greatly pleased to see these shippers lose their cargo or their ship, preferably both.
Second; You permit vessels belonging to the Kiretsu, including fighters, bombers, and transport-classes, to dock on IMG bases within the Taus, Bretonia, and Omegas, sans Freistadt. Rest assured that our relationship with Bretonia is warm, and you will receive no problems from them for allowing this.
Lastly, a request, as a show of good faith. The Miners Guild could use their contacts to get us in contact with Hessian representatives. It would be quite useful, and go a long way towards repairing our relationship.
So killing my employees is an attention-grabbing method? And afterwards you request something as a show of good faith?
If you want to talk or complain to IMG executives, send me a message. Not by killing my employees.
Regarding your terms, I must say that I am pleased with your approach, Zetsumai-san. It can evolve into something prosperous.
I am sure you are aware that the Outcasts actively and frantically attack our mining operations in the Taus. It is our unchallenged right to protect ourselves and fight back. We believe that the cardamine distribution is their major source of income so unless you can negotiate a ceasefire we can stop exercising our right to fight back and that includes the interception of the cardamine convoys. However since this scenario is highly unrealistic, I would like to propose a counter-offer. Instead of opening the whole Kusari cardamine route, we can allow only certain transports which work on behalf of Kiretsu. That way you can have a monopoly in the terms of safety. An attractive advantage, if you ask me. Needless to say, if we find the terms we agree to, beneficial, we can ask from our allies, the Colonial Republic to do the same.
Regarding the second term, I find it promising. However, there are certain problems which need to be solved before we agree to. And that is the docking rights to bases such as Holman Outpost which is accompanied by a Kusari Battleship and Aland Shipyard which belongs in the fragile region of Omega-3. I would like to firstly bring the issue in the next meeting of the Board of Guild Masters where we will decide about the exact limitations.
As for your request, Zetsumai-san, I believe I can arrange that. However, I also have a request. I would like to get in contact with the Rising Sons of Kusari. I am sure the honored warriors of Kiretsu could help me on that task.
Zetsumai-san the meeting of the Board of Guild Masters has just finished. I was asked to convey its decision regarding the second term.
Kiretsu vessels can freely dock in IMG bases within Bretonian space. Aland Shipyard is right now off-limits until a new Omega Treaty is signed. Holman Outpost is also off limits since a Kusari battleship is in its close proximity. You can dock in Java station but try to keep a low profile. The IMG bases in Orkney, Tau-37 and Tau-39 are open for your organisation, as well. I would also like to ask to not use IMG bases in order to attack our allies or emergency dock while pursued by our allies or other law enforcers.
I accept your terms. Do note, that some of the transports in the Taus carrying Cardamine will be under Kiretsu protection without necessarily flying under our colors. For these exceptions, we will notify you ahead of time which traders are working on our behalf.
As for the Blood Dragons, I will let them know you wish to speak with them. They have communicated to me a desire of their own to possibly discuss a deal with you as well. They will contact you when they are ready.
It is good to find common grounds of co-operation which may also evolve in the future. Furthermore, a message will soon be sent to the Red Hessian Army.
I am sure you already know this, but in case you don't, a large Gallic Royal Navy fleet marches to the Taus. It's intentions seem to be hostile and it will likely hit the KNF forces in the area. However, I wouldn't consider them as friends if I was in your position.
