Good day to whoever may receive this, I'm Magdalena Atzenbruck, captain of the Uruz-class ALG transport Thaya.
Today in Okinawa, I witnessed a very disturbing event - specifically, an apparently rogue captain. Piloting nothing less than a Kusari destroyer-class vessel.
I encountered the ship in Miura's orbit, and although it's presence alone would have been....unusual at best, what I witnessed then was more than worrying.
I'll let the images speak for themselves, I suppose.
Not only did the vessel attack Otemachi for no apparent reason, he also threatened and even fired shots at me, albeit very briefly. Eventually, he left for Honshu.
As I was going that way anyway with a load of H-fuel, I followed him to Planet Honshu, where the destroyer landed.
It's not my place to tell you what to do with this - I just figured it's something you should know about.
Those news are quite disturbing. According to the old Aomori treaty, the Kusari Naval Forces recognize Okinawa system as a Gas Miner Guild sovereign system.
While our forces are authorized to operate within Okinawa system, according to the section 2.4 of the treaty, the Admiralty decided to interfere as little as possible in the Gas Miner Guild sovereign space, following the Kurile crisis, in order to not aggravate the already complicated relations between the Republic of Kusari and the Gas Miner Guild.
The Naval Forces however had to suffer acts of betrayal lately. I wouldn't be surprised if that vessel was now controlled by our enemies while using fake identification codes.
Our forces will look for this vessel, in order to question his captain, for the violation of the directives given by the Admiralty.
The Admiralty would also like to apology to the Gas Miner Guild for this incident and to make it clear no orders were given to violate Gas Miner Guild space nor endanger the Guild's assets.
May your course be clear, Kaishō-ho Mochizuki,
Kusari Naval Forces.
The Treaty of Aomori, that the honourable Mochizuki-san is referring to, is not a legal document. It was mutually (finalized, on our end) declared null and void a year ago - [ACCESS GRANTED: ARCHIVE 81618 POST #3]. Although the Emperor at the time of the Kurile Crisis, Jien Kogen, kicked off that ball as early as a whole year prior to the archived transmission, which you've been given access to.
According to Guild Territorial Laws, no warships apart from snubcraft and Gunboat/ship classes are allowed in Guild space, with the exception of those that have been given our expressed permission. We're grateful for the evidence and information that you've presented, Atzenbruck-chan, but as Mochizuki-san gathered, the only logical explanation to this incident would be that of a stolen Kusari Destroyer, now in the hands of an eccentric individual with questionable motives, at best.
We will be on the lookout for this rogue vessel, and deal with it appropriately if it continues breaking Guild laws. I'm certain that the KNF will act accordingly if the perpetrator shows up on their end, as well.
P.S.
The Otemachi Trade Annexe is property owned by the Interspace Commerce, in Guild space.
Thank you for your responses, Mr Mochizuki and Mr Katsuo.
As I said, I cannot suggest nor comment on any actions that might be taken.
I felt it was necessary to report this as this individual was threatening civilian traffic.
I cannot expect anything more than that you keep your eyes open for this possibly dangerous individual.
Somehow, I fear this newly-ratified treaty between the governments of Kusari and Rheinland might result in more incidents of this nature, but really, I cannot say.
We will all see.
Anyway, good luck and stay alert. That is really all I can say at this point.
- Kind regards, Lena Atzenbruck
P.S.: To Mr Katsuo: I wasn't aware who the owner of Otemachi was, thank you for the heads up.
