Firstly, I want to thank the board for sponsoring this exchange programme. I'm sure I'll have an invaluable set of experiences to bring back to the Territorial Police when I go home. Until then, I'm looking forwards to seeing more of how things work down here in Liberty.
Speaking of which, I have some concerns about a particular conversation I heard a couple of nights ago while on duty. One Dave Moose of some Naval affiliation or another has some interesting ideas about one of the local terrorist groups. It wasn't RO Woods' or my job to chase the Legionnaire floating around the naval academy off, but it is his. He seemed more concerned with sympathising with him, though, rather than simply doing his job.
On one hand, it's not really my place to pry with something like that. On the other, I feel obliged to at least notify someone about this. If a Naval Forces officer was talking about the Dragons like that back home, they'd probably wind up discharged or far worse. It's my professional opinion that someone in his command structure should at least have a strongly-worded chat with him, if nothing else.
Other than that, I don't have much to report other than a healthy dose of struggling to acclimatise. There's an awful lot of room in the Liberator compared to the Wyrm. I suppose that's Sunbucks' fault, right? Either way, it's nice that my knees aren't meant to act as crumple zones any more if I crash into something.
