Shaw here, reporting several cases of express justice.
I launched from Trenton into a scene revolving around an ALG freighter either equipped or carrying several cases of adapted alien weaponry. Commodore Edwards of the Fifth Fleet was already handling the case, but after I'd launched, the ship in question, Hausmeister.I, began fleeing towards West Point. I regret to inform that they got away along the lanes, as I'd forgotten to switch on my TLAGSNET scanner, but they didn't get away cleanly. I snagged scans of their ship, the cargo in question, and their affiliation. I doubt ALG has any intentions of letting something like this slip.
On the way back to Manhattan, I came across an Insurgency battlecruiser, INS-Anchorage, at West Point, making its way towards the Capital. Upon arrival, I began to make way for a friendly dock, pulling out the Polstari to take care of the warship. During the initial confrontation, a second pirate warship came into range, MNS-Gran. We dealt with the Insurgency warship, made way for spot repairs, then returned and challenged the Outcast. I'm pleased to say that we took care of both ships handily, while one of our secondary officers took out a Rogue Pilgrim Liner, named Hakon, that decided to be more of a nuisance while we rapped up the Outcast.
We returned to Manhattan orbit once again to witness a friendly Navy dreadnought taking on yet another Outcast capital ship, MNS-Galicia. We stood-by this time, though, with the ship having taken enough damage that we wouldn't have lasted long in another fight without maintenance. We weren't needed, though, and the second Outcast was wrapped up handily.
Our final confrontation of the day came in the form of a third Outcast warship, -|-A.Belicoso, that rocked up first at West Point, then continued to Manhattan. Once more, the Polstari was ready, and it didn't take long for the Outcast to meet the same fate its kin had earlier.
