This is Officer McLeod reporting,
At 1044 I tracked down a previously suspicious ship in the California system. The vessel was previously displayed having adapted alien weaponry, as well as weaponry solely to be equipped by Liberty personnel on it. The vessel named "CalciumCas" reluctantly complied with my order to stop due to presumed communication difficulties. Upon explaining the law, namely §4.1 of the Liberty legal charter, the pilot agreed with my demand to unequip the illegal equipment and it over to planet- or stationside authorities. Additionally I issued a fine of 1.000.000$ Credits. The pilot was free to go but agreed to an escort to Planet California Minor to ensure that the equipment was handed over, to which the pilot complied. I then returned to New York.
At 1155, a single Barghest-class pirate bomber appeared near the main trade routes at Planet Manhattan. On site were Commissioner Nazumaki, myself, a bounty hunter named Donald Hazzard, and several civilians. The bomber demanded the surrender of money. None of the pilots present gave in to his demand. Mr. Hazzard and the bomber began a firefight a few seconds later. I, considering the bounty hunter's legal business, did not open fire and observed the situation from close range to intervene if necessary. The bomber launched an attack on me in the middle of the battle, which I narrowly avoided. I then opened fire as well, but only to disable the ship's shields so that the bounty hunter could validate his shoot-down. After the bomber was destroyed, I returned to Manhattan for a systems check.
Later on, at 1731, I encountered a Pirate ship at the Lane towards Bethlehem Station in Pennsylvania. The pirate attempted at stopping and robbing me before they realized I belonged to the Police. They then immediately prepared for a firefight. I warned the pilot and demanded them to comply with my arrest order, which they did not. I returned fire at the Pirate to the point of their hull integrity becoming critical. I then issued a final opportunity to comply with my demands. The pirate tried then tried to cause a self-induced ship destruction via their mines, which I disrupted. That, however, caused the ship to be destroyed as well.
As I was heading back to New York, two Lane Hacker vessels ambushed me and a Freelancer at the jump gate. Due to slight damages my ship had taken, as well as several nanobots having been used, I defended myself as much as possible. The Patriot was destroyed, however, and I was forced to use the emergency ejection, which did leave me uninjured on Planet Erie. I could not collect further information on these vessels, other than that they were both Dagger-class starfighters.
Officer McLeod over.
